   A few times. Once when I'm done typing everything out, once in the preview window and again after it's actually published. I like ensuring I haven't made any major grammatical errors

   I write ... what I feel ... and do so in a language which is not my mother tongue ...
   
   Because, the Human Awareness of Truth ... is a Fleeting Awareness, of Reality ... for we move on, to the next Level of our Awareness ... during Moments that follow ...
   
   Therefore, if I were to indulge in Grammar, Syntax, Structures and the Logic of such Awareness ... and start Composing ...
   I will be doing a great wrong ... first, to myself, and then to my readers.
   
   Fopr I want my readers to "Read the workings of my Mind" ... the phrases ... can always be corrected later !
   Accordingly, I Publish, what I am Aware of ... and later do the readings and editing ... as to make my Awareness comprehensible to the casual reader ...

   3 times before publishing and once after.  I write it and do a spell check for each capsule.  Then I read it all through to make sure it flows and the grammar is correct.  I then read it aloud to catch the "sound" of it.  I read it through on preview and once after publishing.  I want my work to be professional and it is important to me that it be correct.  I want to produce a high quality product.

   Very funny, Michael. Even your question has a typo.
   
   As a professional typesetter, half a lifetime ago, my fingers always told me when I'd made a typo. One California publisher was amazed at the lack of typos in their galley proofs. As I've gotten older, though, my fingers have gotten slower and have forgotten how to spell. Now, I rely on numerous reads plus the spellchecker in Word to keep me largely error free.
   
   I still don't like the grammar checker built into Word. Most of the time, I disagree with its assessment.
   
   I don't have an exact number of times. But I always give one final read-through from top to bottom to ensure that the rhythms and music of the prose is pleasing and that the flow of ideas is logical and compelling (at least to me).

   That's funny. Of course I meant: how many times do you etc. I actually wanted to know how many times do you read your hub before publishing, and edit it, until you are sure the content is lucid.

   I read through my hub two or three times, and then once again after it has been published. I run a spell check too on each capsule and make sure there are no spelling mistakes that I haven't noticed.

   Since I tend to use entirely to many commas, I read mine many, many...did I say, MANY times.  Upwards of 10 before I start adding it to HubPages, once as I'm working on the individual capsules, and then once again in preview mode before I publish it. 
   
   I actually write it and then let is sit for at least a few hours before adding it to HubPages.
   
   Saddest part is, I still find typos and grammar errors after its been published.

   I really like to write from the heart and I feel like I will obsess too much over what I've done if I try to edit it right away.  I prefer to wait a few days before re-reading the content because I feel like I do a much better job of making sure my thoughts came across clearly.

    I usually read it about 2 to 3 times. I've learnt from experience to always copy/cut my entire capsule into an open Word Doc. on my PC, do my spelling and grammer check, and then paste it back into the capsule. That has really helped a lot.

    I usually read through it at least twice, but that doesn't mean I still don't find mistakes.  I try to go back a week later and check again, editing if need be.
