I would live everywhere. I wouldn't have one set place as my domicile. I'd live in an apartment in Roppongi, Japan, I'd live in a secluded bungalow on Molokai or somewhere in Thailand. I'd live on a cruise ship and sail the Mediterranean. I'd have a leer jet to ride between New York and Italy.

I'd live in Singapore, France, Brazil--anywhere and everywhere.

In the same area I live in now. If I won a million or even a billion dollars, I would buy a home near the interstate across the highway. The house would be redone to my wishes. No pool, no ponds. I would have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a three car garage, large living room with open kitchen. A relatively small home for someone with such money. Also a pleasant outdoors area with lights and a willow tree or two.
Also an underground basement for all the cash. I don't trust banks.

Close to where I am at.  I would love a downtown loft.  Of course, I would travel; but, home is home.   I would get a summer home in Mobile, Alabama.

I would live in a different place every 6 month so I can constantly discover new cultures, new foods, new people all the time!!!

Some excellent answers here thanks for the replies!

I personally would love to live away on some lovely tropical island for a few months and enjoy relaxing for far to long - I'd then come straight back to my normal life! I couldn't see myself permanently moving anywhere other than where am I now. But then again, having all the money in the world...

I'd want to live in Japan.  I love the city that Tokyo offers but enjoy the countryside quiet of the country like Bisen.

I would surely live in the land where i was born and grown up. Philippines, a beautiful country with 7'100 islands to discover, with white sandy beaches, gray sandy beaches, rocky beaches whatever you like. Of course i will visit Switzerland as often as i can when i miss the 4 seasons of the year where i couldn't have in the Phil. I like the sea, seafoods and fish to eat. I love nature...the mountains, the farm fields.

Santorini Greece. Oia. Heaven on earth! Have not been there in this lifetime, but am sure I lived there in other incarnations.

There are several places I could say but really couldn't. What I am sure about though is it would be near a large city but in a very quiet place. There would be mountains, a river or lake, and the right perch where I could build a house that overlooked everything. Somewhere northward with distinct seasons and snow, but no ferocious storms. I'd love to see wildflowers and nature should abound. I'd move all my family to live nearby, or maybe a family compound. Places in mind: Vermont, Oregon, Hawaii. Doesn't matter--home is where you make it.

I'd live near a beach in California.  Settling for a beach in Oregon right now, but wouldn't mind more warm weather.

I would have to say Costa Rica!  I have spent a little time there.  I fell in love with the people, the country, their way of life:  everything.  They have no army, so their money goes to their people in the way of good education, and they take care of their elderly. Another plus:  they don't change their time back and forth like we do.  It's warm there year round.

I'd live in lots of different places -- y'know, travel around the world so I can live in the place with the best weather for each season.

Space. Thus far it's uninhabited, so I needn't worry about the neighbors' dog barking.

I love where we live right now in the Mountains of Utah. But I would get a bigger house and improve the house, like have a snow-melt drive way. wink
