What is the most effective way you have found to promote your Hubs?

I have found Internet forums like Yahoo Finance quite effective for promoting financial Hubs.  Where else are Hubbers finding places that are effective in producing Hub traffic?

That's a good question; I need to promote literary content. I find that difficult, but I am trying to follow HubPages guidelines. I believe, in my case, good literary content and consistent posting help.

I have not really been promoting my Hubs. I just hang out here now and make some Blogs for anyone who is interested. Some of my Hubs are not good but a few of them might be useful to someone somewhere.

I post a lot of my hubs on my Facebook page. If you notice on each hub you do, there is a share button that is there automatically. You can share your hubs with others on Digg, Reddit, Twitter, MySpace, and Stumble. By doing this, it will increase your traffic to these hubs.

For me, one of the best way is to perform interlink between high traffic hubs to smaller and lesser traffic hub. Of course social media does their work too. Another way I find very useful is forum and rss.

I am not really sure what is effective, and would love to learn the most effective ways.

    Here's what I do:

    1. Write quality hubs
    2. Make sure there are links to my other relevant hubs, preferably both as RSS feeds and as links.
    3.  I try to stay active in the answers, forums, and commenting on other people's hubs. Lots to learn that way!
    4. I share my links with other free sites, like StumbleUpon and Facebook. The key there is to also be active on those sites, and I find it hard to be active everywhere at the same time.
    5. I haven't done this, but eventually I will write other articles in other places, such as on blogs, and link back to the hubs.
    6.  Answering questions in forums and other places like webanswers, yahooanswers, so you can get your information out to people from all over.
