   How many percentage of your love/heart would you give to the one you love.
   
   why am saying this was because I gave my first love all I had, the day she broke up with me,i developed this heart pain that has lived with me years now. so hw many percentage would one give so as to have some left for the worst days if any comes.

   Good thing about love is that is has very little to do with math, logic or percentages.
   Sad to hear you ended up with the shortest end of the stick there.
   
   It is indeed a gamble.  If anything know that those that give have indeed the upper hand.  The givers are the starters, the trailblazers... We dare to go where no one ventured.  More than likely you loved her like no one else would.
   
   There is an old saying in this that goes like "I might love another like I loved you; but you will never ever find another that will love you how I loved you".

   I'd give 100%.  I don't know how to love any other way, so I just wouldn't try to love less than  100%.  You can always make more love.  Even if someone takes all you have.  That's the beauty of the human heart ~ there is ALWAYS more.

   For my part I would give it all. It wouldn't be love to me otherwise.
   Commitment and dedication is what love stands for at least to me. Whether it is a friend or a spouse or even a peer I would stand by the mat all times..or I do not commit at all. I make my choice after giving it much thought!
   Taking or leaving is left to the person, if you had given it all, be proud of yourself and what you stand for! You are not the loser!

   Only 100% otherwise it is not worth giving at all.  Broken hearts mend and you can always have enough there for someone else if it does all fall apart, but you should never go into a relationship thinking it is going to end to therefore you have to give your all..
