How old is too old to be romantic?

I find many youngsters frown at elders who dress up more fashionably or behave in a romantic way.

I certainly think that dressing far too young for your age is very unattractive. But you can still look great and be fashionable without looking like mutton dressed as lamb. Besides that, as a 50 year old woman, I wouldn't be seen dead wearing some of the awful fashions youngsters have today! LOL!

As for romance - you're never too old! There is nothing in any rule book anywhere that says you have to stop loving or living just because you get to a certain age. I for one will continue to do what pleases me and to hell with what others - young or old - think.

Elders should scoff at any frowning by the young. They've earned the right to do as they choose. The pups need to learn some manners.

Old age is viewed quite negatively in this society. Many people expect old people to withdraw from society. Old people are oftentimes seen as senile & in the way. Old people are STILL vital people! read more

One is never too old to be romantic. Your physical appearance may change, you may not be able to dress up like youngsters do because that will not suit your age. Here I am talking of a young heart, which remains romantic, irrespective of the number of years that person has lived. There are many instances of stories, movies, songs written by much older persons. And that has happened only because they are young at heart.
