Jesus because he was the most civilized  well organized person that ever lived on earth.

ah, lots of people to choose from! But I like Peter, because he was always all out for what ever he was doing. Even if sometimes he was going in the wrong direction, he was never lukewarm. Paul is another of my favorites.

Yes, Peter was so transparent. He appealed to what he truly felt. Paul was another inspiring character to me as well.

I am actually an atheist, so I probably have zero business answering this, but I do like the bible and I choose Mary Magdalene. She was a fallen woman, but is a prime example of how someone can take a bad life and make good on it. She is very inspiring.

It's significant, too, Georgie, that Jesus appeared to this Mary first after His resurrection in that she was an "outcast" for whom he died, since she believed in Him...good choice!

The Apostle Paul.  Paul's letters to the Christian churches throughout the Roman Empire transcend the issues of their time and teach me something new and important about Christian life every time I read them.

Isaiah is my favorite for his incredible perseverance...he was called to preach in Isaiah 6 to a nation who would not listen to him for 53 YEARS!!  In fact, his "job description"...calling...was to harden hearts, blind eyes, and deafen ears so Israel would NOT repent!  It took guts and grace to be an O.T. prophet!  Good question, AA.

Elijah! (But there are so many good ones). I get literally excited when I read about Elijah. Might be a little because of the song (Elijah Rock) but really it's about him standing up against Ahab (SO many funny Ahab moments) and Jezebel, and the fire show. Oh, and God appearing to him (not as a big scary fire or a tornado, but as a soft whisper —blows my mind.) God didn't appear to many.

Moses. Rahab! (she should be played by Angelina Jolie). Ruth is a big favorite for her faith; and Hannah (Samuel's mom). Definitely Samuel. Michaiah (saw the awesome vision and probably got hurt really bad; not mentioned much.) Mary Magdalene, as someone already mentioned. The Holy Mother. John, and of course Peter. (And whoever said, "Let us call down fire on this city and smite it" to Jesus, who wasn't too fond of that idea.)

Better to ask who I wasn't too fond of *cough*Solomon*cough*, or who we never really related to at all (Rachel... I'm Team Leah all the way, LOL).
