Do you think that people behave differently when they wear different clothes?
This hub is to answer the question: Do you think that people behave differently when they wear different clothes?
Clothing does have an effect on a person's behavior. All one needs to do is to think about their favorite outfit or an outfit that... read more
I was just thinking about this earlier today actually, and in my opinion yes! I was thinking that I behave differently when wearing a skirt/dress than I do when I'm wearing pants. I am more conscious of my body placement when wearing a skirt, because I'm trying not to be too revealing - and because I am being more "ladylike" as my grandmother might say with the way I move, sometimes it is a reminder to be more ladylike with my behavior as well!
Of course they do. One is more confident when the clothes fit the situation.
I wouldn't want to be all dressed in frilly clothes at a picnic.I wouldn't feel right in jeans at a funeral not at my age anyway!
I feel great in high heels. They just give me that confident air.I even seem to walk taller(LOL),but I feel and act differently when dressed for the occasion.
I would feel downtrodden if I wore shabby dirty clothes anywhere.
Thank you baygirl33. I enjoyed reading your answer.
yes they do! When you dress well and do your hair and make up you feel good and confident, giving you a zest for the day ahead.
Casual wear makes you feel relaxed and it does change the way you behave.
You answered it with brief examples. Thank you Tashaonthetown.
Yes ,I do .A woman have a habit of walking quickly. However she can not walk fast if she wear a long and tight dress . she must feel uncomfortable about that .So, it's important for us to have a cloth that fit us perfectly .
That's right. Thank you for your answer zhujiaqi.
Sometimes I do Seckin Esen. It depends on the person. There are times I find myself feeling more beautiful in brighter colors. But, I love me some me so it doesn't matter. But yes, I find especially with women when they were more revealing or fitted clothing and get alot of attention, they walk different and talk different. Interesting.
I agree with you ReneDC1979. Clothing changes their behaviors Thanks.
Absolutely and unequivocally. As well, clothing speaks messages to others and they respond to those messages in one way or another.
That's right, RTalloni. Clothing is one of the best ways of conveying your ideas or messages.
I believe so! I feel much more confident when I am dressed up, and with make up on. I feel sexier when I wear a skirt, and more relaxed in sweat pants.
I feel awful when under dressed at the party, and fantastic when wearing something new!
Thank you for your valuable answer Monis Mas.
Absolutely! If I am going to an interview I will wear a suit that I feel confident in and will make me feel powerful. Or if I'm going out with friends I might choose to wear something newly bought - sometimes it feels like ones personality changes according to what one's wearing.
