   Nice question. I would develop something that can guide the people to live a happier life... maybe an app to constantly remind the people to smile, keep going and be positive?

   A 'zero/reverse gravity machine.'  It would be used for all manner of things: vertical takeoff for aircraft without the use of any engine power.  Rockets would not long be rockets.  They simply be pulled into space.  There would be no need for wheels on most means of transport.  Simply apply the reverse gratvity machine adusted to certain limits.   Cranes and various lifting implements would be redundant, to name a few.
   
   Would take a lot of fun out of things.  No point in climbing a mountain when you can 'zap' your way to the top with a zero/reverse gravity apparatus. 
   
   Oh, and it would be quite small.   Everyone would be able to carry one around for personal use.   Just be careful not to switch it on if you're leg's caught under something.
