Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, from Vietnam, in a meditation retreat center. I hope we could be clean and well fed. He's the kindest person I've ever met (and, yes, I've met the Dalai Lama). His practice is not only to love every person, animal, and plant, but also every thing - from stones to stars. I can't imagine a better companion.

I met him in 1985, and he has always been true to the practices of peace, love, and wisdom

Wise answer!   I was thinking some Industrialist who always travels international by private jet - no waiting in the queues at LA Airport!

This is an awesome question! I would have to say chained to Jesus for a year in Alaska. The two of us could have some time alone, just to talk and enjoy nature together. I could learn so much within that year!

I would say to my significant other. For a number of reason. First he is a person who I am totally comfortable around and since we would be in such a close space embarrassing things are bound to happen. Second if you are going to be spending so much time with this person your going to really have to love the person otherwise one person will probably wind up killing the other lol.. And lastly we have lots in common so we would not be completely bored.

The obvious answer for me is my boyfriend. We survived 74 days together living out of a Jeep traveling 24,000 miles across the Lower 48. The only time we weren't together was for bathroom visits and for the first time in my life I didn't want to kill someone I had spent so much time with! That was the very beginning of our relationship. It's been a couple of years now and I am trying to publish a coffee table book of the whole experience based on the blog I kept a t the time, Chasing Marbles. smile Considering I feel the same for him as I did then I don't think I'd mind being chained together for a year...
