   Some have! Some parents have kids long before they were ready to and the children suffer for it through neglect.

   Of course not all parents have failed. I feel that people have lost the meaning of good parenting. So many people are having children for the wrong reasons. First of all a person needs to be really stable in order to raise a child.
   
   Some people marry and have children thinking that this will make everything all right and erase the problems that they have had in the past. Not so. Children cannot help you grow up and be a responsible parent.
   
   Loving a child and caring for them is one issue and keeping them safe and correctly guiding them is another. Yes, children are cute, but to not guide your child properly is not cute.

   Yes, some parents had failed in parent-hood especially the non-educated ones. When i go shopping at market or hypermarket, you could see children running everywhere playing "catch me if you can" where parents couldn't care less what happened to them until the receptionist announce that someone's child had lost his parents and is at the reception counter now. Teens are changing too especially the "apple of the eye". These teens couldn't care less how or what others feelings or opinion. All they do is "you do what i say" because their parents are rich or just because they know that the parents are bound to "back them up" no matter what happens. I guess parents should go to parents class again.

   I have found that since the advent of reliable birth control less and less people who are knowledgeable and stable enough to make great parents chose to be. There has always been an over abundance of feral children running wild because their parents (too young, too stupid, or too careless) just let them do what they please because they can't be inconvenienced to watch them properly. Neglect is a huge issue - and usually breeds more neglect through the generations. The problem now is more apparent because of the lack of children from the educated, sane, and stable people who have every right to live their lives as childless entities.

   Some fail at teaching, some fail at listening, some fail at learning. Both kids and parents out there have failed to some degree. But you have never failed completely until you just flat give up.
