   Do you think we will still be married in Heaven?
   
   For those that actually believe in Heaven. Do you believe that you will continue to stay married to your current, or previous spouse? Or do we forget that once we reach Heaven?

   Great question!  I've actually researched this in depth for a novel I'm writing in which a woman dies and goes to heaven to find that its very different from most people's conceptions.  Here is the gist of what my research showed me regarding your question:
   
   - People most definitely remember each other, continue relationships, and have a memory of their time on earth.  The afterlife is just a continuation (albeit in a different way/dimension).  The Bible has references of people in heaven asking about things or people on earth.  Much of this life is to learn so if we forgot our life on earth once in heaven, that would pretty much defeat the purpose of what some of this life is about.  And much of what heaven is about is relationships--with God and with others. 
   - An overwhelming amount of people who have had NDE's or died and came back say that loved ones meet them to escort them or "give them a tour" of heaven.  In fact, not only do you recognize people you knew during your life on earth, but people have claimed to talk to and recognize biblical characters like Paul, King David, etc.  There is a "knowing" of who people are at a greater level there.
   - So if we know and recognize people in heaven, there is no reason for us to magically forget who our spouse was.  Will there be "marriage" in heaven?  My sources say "no"--not in the way we think of marriage.  The "marriage" in heaven is the Bride (Jesus' beloved on earth) to the Bridegroom (Jesus).  BUT I have read that people have companions in heaven--so if you were married on earth--your spouse could become your companion in heaven.  I even read that those who did not marry on earth were still able to have a special companion in heaven.  They are not exactly male and female, but there is masculine and feminine.  And the oneness experienced by companions is a spiritual, emotional, and beyond our comprehension oneness.  One source described it as the "two shall become one" literally happens there and the companions at times meld together as one essence or being.  This oneness is also in an accord of oneness with God.  The man who had been there and experienced it and came back had a very hard time explaining it because its not something the earthly mind can understand.  Although he said its magnificent and ecstatic beyond anything we've experienced here.
   - There is no envy or jealousy in heaven so relationships do not carry the strain they may carry on earth.

      no one EVER goes to heaven or has been there.   The righteous inherit the earth and God moves out of heaven and lives forever with His sons on the new earth after the judgement,   You have been deceived by satan's "church system"

   Jesus gave a clear answer to this in His response to the Sadduces. They didn't believe in an after life, but tried their trick question on Jesus about a family of seven brothers, each of whom married the same woman in progression, then died. The Sadduces asked Jesus who's wife would she be in heaven. Jesus replied that we won't be married in heaven but be like the angels. From other scripture we can see that we'll recognize each other, but our relationships will be different.

      jesus NEVER spoke of going to heaven, He knows that is a lie of apostate men.   He understands that He and His father join the rest of the sons of God to live eternally on the new earth which they inherit at the judgment.

   “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven” (Matthew 22:30).
   
   If we look at what Jesus said “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven” he states AT resurrection... not in New Jerusalem. We will be as the angels, with no reproductive organs or need to reproduce... But this is at resurrection (in heaven). New Jerusalem will be on earth, thus being physical. We will have new, physical bodies. In heaven, however, we will not have physical bodies. We will just be in spirit like the angels.
   
   So yes, I believe there still may be a place for marriage in New Jerusalem (the new earth) but no, not in Heaven.
   
   Don't confuse the new world for Heaven. Heaven is where we go when we die to wait upon the earth being rid of evil so we may be placed in new physical bodies to live on earth with God, Jesus, animals, ect. Think of the Garden of Eden before sin. That's what I believe New Jerusalem will be like.

   According to the words of Christ in Scripture, their will be no marriage in heaven (Matthew 22:29-30). Marriage is ordained and honored by God, as it should be by all people (Genesis 2:18-25). Marriage represents the close, intimate bond that Christ has with and for His chosen people: His Church. The woman symbolizes the church, the man is to represent Christ in how he loves, honors, respects and cares for his wife. Eve was taken from Adam's side while he slept (Genesis 2:18-25) and made from his rib that God had removed. She is taken from his side to and this says she is his EQUAL, not to be above him to dominate, and not to be below him to be trampled and mistreated. "Womb-MAN" as Adam said in a longer description, because she "is taken out of man". As the Holy Trinity are one in accord and will, so the husband and wife are to perfectly reflect the Holy Trinity the same way. Marriage is ordained by God for populating the earth (Genesis 1:26-28) and for companionship (Genesis 2:18). For companionship because how can anyone LEARN to love and be loving and all the other characteristics of God unless they have interaction with others? In Heaven, your current spouse will no longer be your spouse, and there will no longer be sexual intercourse. Jesus said so Himself in Matthew 22:29-30.

   what value is there to your question.    It is question that scripture makes clear but since you do not believe in God you are just playing games here.   go play elsewhere with you fellow doubters
