Do you sometimes wonder whether you would be better off being someone else?

Are you a 100% happy about who you are? Or do you sometimes wish you were someone else, or wish you could be different from the way you are? What changes would you like to see in yourself?

It's always nice to dream a bit and think someone's life is better or more successful than yours but generally you'll normally find that it's just superficial things on the surface that makes their life 'seem better'. Everyone has things they would like to change...I would like to be a few inches taller if I had the option but it's a minor thing.

Being happy with yourself is important as you only get one life and you have to live it as best you can. The best changes I could really wish for myself is to develop more as a person, be better at my job and to keep having a positive outlook:-)

I used to act a bit when I was younger and it's fun to be different people sometimes or play a part but at the end of the day it's great to become 'you' again in however that transpires.

Of course. My life would be way sweeter if I were Batman.

No, I've never even considered that question. I'm quite happy with the way I am. If there is something I don't like, I fix it. Everything can be made better, so we are always a work in progress. Changing and morphing, hopefully for the better. But you are in control of that. If you don't like who you are, you only have yourself to blame. Try adjustment strategies.
For example, I used to desire to be more assertive and independent. So an alter ego was created and now I have the chance to fill in the empty gaps before. Writing in a journal helps, setting goals, etc. But getting much better at certain tasks help define who you are.

      What about changing your looks?
      Would you have cosmetic surgery?

Heck no, I wouldn't get cosmetic surgery. Coloring my hair and painting my nails are as different as I get.

We all want to be someone else.
I want to be 30, have a great body, be a surgeon, and travel and live on the Italian Rivera.
Unfortunately I'm stuck with a bad back. Lots of hardware in my neck and I'm 50 something.
I'm the way I am for a reason. That's how God made me!
" For I am wonderfully made." Psalm 139
Wonder Woman would be nice though:)
Just think how others older than me feel,

No.  If I wasn't me I wouldn't have my children or grandchildren.  Besides, if I was someone else, who would be me?

Ah, no. Then I wouldn't be me. If you were someone other than yourself how would you answer when spoken to? Would it be in the first, second or third person or would it be a combination of two or all or would you then have to invent some other way to manifest your personage; if that is the right word?

I don't wonder if I would be better off being someone else, because the truth is that I have the ability to change me if I'm not happy with myself. Who you are as a person never has to be a permanent position - it is something that we can change through our actions and words. If I self-reflect and find that I'm a mean person then I just need to change the way that I treat others, I don't need to jump into a whole new body.

No, I am happy as I am but I don't mind to be taller a little bit as I am only 4'9" but apart from this I am quite happy to be me. As long as I have food to eat, roof above my head, loving family, good friends and a job to do, I am quite content and happy. I don't want to be someone else, just want to be me.

I don't wonder, I'm pretty much certain of it. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be an option.
