Why are some religionists highly intrusive, judgmental, &meddlesome regarding atheists agnostics, &

non-traditional spiritualists?  What makes these religionists think that their religious ideology is the only legitimate path?

If they believe in a Judaic religion at least, intolerance of other belief systems is built in. If there's only one true God, then all other paths are false.

Precisely. That is also why Christianity lends itself so well to cults. Nearly 70% of cults are Christian.

If you read Neale Donald Walsch's book, (A5 paper back version as published by Hodder Mobius Press) turn to Chapters 13 and 14 and you'll find out exactly what God wants of us human beings.

Oh yes, I read it.  I have ALL of Neale Donald Walsch's books.  They are simply eye-opening.

Well, I am Christian, and I believe the bible, so I understand that Christianity is the only path to God. As for those that attack others for their beliefs they probably do it out of insecurity, or out of vainglory and for argument's sake, or because the religion hints or specifies that attitude as being proper or acceptable or even dutiful.
