How to deal with negativity?
Negativity is one of the most common thing found in todays generation due to which they can develop their abilities and themselves properly. What you all think what are basic reasons behind this and how to resolve those?
If you don't laugh, going to cry. Need to know that your life could be a whole lot worse. The other day was upset at Walmart, because I hate shopping there. Then come home and read about the earthquake in Italy and pretty much felt ashamed about my adult temper tantrum.
So lighten up and make a joke out of something that you think is awful. I did with this photo:
Unplug!
Seriously most negativity comes from outside chatter: people we know and other sources. We then internalize it and let it dwell on our minds. Some people even take on other people's problems.
One of the reasons so many people recommend meditation is just to take a few minutes out of everyday to (clear their mind).
Each of us gets to (choose) our own friends, lovers, and spouse.
Each of us gets to (choose) who we spend our leisure time with.
You get to (choose) your own thoughts!
Working out while listening to music on your iPod, laying out at the beach, taking vacations, reading inspirational books, or doing other things (you enjoy) are all ways to escape from negativity.
It's also important to guard your mind against negative self-talk!
First of all see whether that is really negativity or the bitter truth. If it is pure negativity then don't take the vibes seriously and don't react to it as it would cause no further problems(if you take things too seriously,it will lead to a very depressing state). Talking to the person who says negative things about you(and finding the reason behind it) will also help. If you can't take all the negativity then try talking to someone who is close to you, whom you can trust

Our government is trillions of dollars in debt... our children will learn that they will have to be taxed heavily to pay for it... they'll keep less of their own money... and then they'll discover some of the completely wasteful programs that their money is being spent on. From their youth, they've been brainwashed by the church to believe that they are inherently evil. They've been taught the myths of Genesis and Exodus and likely can't discern if there is any truth at all in scripture. They're exposed to two completely immature political parties, neither of which can produce a candidate fit for the presidency. They are weaned at two-years of age and get no intimate touching for at least a dozen more years (which is illegal !) and usually not sooner than for 14 or 16 years after being weaned. The churches, which they're told to respect, are often embroiled in scandal; televangelists rob their friends and relatives; the networks deliver "if it bleeds, it leads"-mentality news; there are natural disasters and manmade tragedies, not to mention senseless wars, environmental damage by irresponsible corporations, crony capitalism thriving, unemployment is through the roof as is divorce and civil unrest. Tyranny reigns in most of the third-world, religions fight one with another, the racial divide is afire, the sexes are treated differently, homosexuals, nudists, prostitutes, drug users are persecuted harshly. Nanny state regulators want to tell them which devices they may or may not use, which foods may be consumed, which narcotics are street-legal, and they water down their education with superfluous, non-academic crap. The popular culture thrives on selling perverse messages, and is inundated in negativity (revealing the true state of things) and we wonder why kids are suicidal???
Our systems are very scarily unhealthy. Its huge systemic and totally overwhelming to me.
And what can each of us to in our own little way for it to be localized and made healthy?
I tried answering in 250 letters... nothing adequately explains my position, though my Hubs are all oriented in this direction.
Keep positive thoughts in your head because God gave us so many free things in this world to make us happy, for example, the love between a man and a women, the joy of birth, friends/family, our animals, the colorful flowers/trees and much more... As humans we are designed to be happy.. Please don't forget that there's someone currently dying or in heart breaking pain and wishing that they can experience the things that life offers.
Disassociate yourself from all negativity, whether it is emotional, mental, physical, psychological, psychic, &/or socioeconomic. Only associate oneself w/positive people. Visualize & do positive.
People who are highly successful AREN'T afraid to disassociate from negative environments whether it's friends, family, & associates. They see that reinventing themselves as successful people is necessary in order to ensure positivity in their lives. One can't be positive if h/she elects to remain in negative environments & still associate w/negative people. Disassociation from negative elements is the ONLY WAY to deal w/negativity.

Have you ever had to deal with negativity from people about your love for writing?I have loved writing more than anything since the third grade. However, writing can be somewhat time consuming. Other people watch sports, play video games, ride horses, shop; but me, give me a topic and I will do...
