Thre's a stack of stats that you can monitor in hubpages, but do you have a liking for any particular one?

Which are you most interested in - and why?

1] Traffic viewed through the hubpages statistics page?
    2] Adsense Page CTR?
    2] Adsense Page eCPM
4] Average amount earnt per hub in a month?
5] Total amount earnt overall in a month?

Or do you watch something else?

I've got a spreadsheet I've written and got all the adsense impressions/clicks/earnings together and I am thinking I will monitor the average income per hub per month.

I know, I am logging into adsense to get the data, then transferring it to a spreadsheet so I can see it all month by month, so I can plot progress/growth (or not) on all the figures adsense gives me.

I am just running the report once a month and jotting it down.  Then performing some projections from that, so I can measure if I am hitting the projections.

        Isn't everybody? smile

I keep a spreadsheet that I update daily for all my other incomes, that then total per month, give me a 3-month running average and provides me with forward projections and a simple chart showing what my monthly income is.  This keeps me on track to see if my income is going up/down or steady.

Last month, hubpages outperformed my ebay earnings, so I started to take a much closer look/interest in hubpages (always promised myself I would since I joined 3 years ago, but other stuff always gets in the way).

        I just love stats.

I pay closest attention to page views because there the life blood of any clicks, or sharing of information depending. Without page views your screwed. smile

I go to the stats page daily and check for visitors in the past 1 day and 7 days, to identify my underperforming hubs, which I then target to improve, but there are no fixed stats in hubpages that I can record in a spreadsheet easily, which is why I've not chosen those to spreadsheet into a permanent record of progress.

I wish they did have stats so you could see it all broken down by month etc.

I actually like readng the keywords that find my stuff. I honestly laugh out loud at some of them. I was going to pull some of them and write a hub about the weird and wonderful world of web surfing, some were that funny. But I figured google might not like it smile

Is that with Analytics?  I've not set that up in hubpages yet, I meant to the other day but got into my account and could see a couple of other sites I've installed it on and just couldn't add hubpages, it wanted me to sign up (again), so I wasn't sure if I'd signed up for each of my previous sites, or if I was doing something wrong, but it's on the To Do list.

I like checking my visitor stats, and who's looking at my photos,  I don't get any ad click and I gave up on trying to fix my adsense problems weeks ago.

how do you look at separate statistics such as photo views? I only see the views for the whole article; I am new to this so I may not be getting into the programs correctly

The only thing I care about from HP's stats is HP traffic. For the rest, I rely on Analytics.

HP traffic is a community thing, but it's not going to earn me any money. So I want to be sure that I'm not patting myself on the back over a hub with great traffic if it's all from HP.

OK, so that motivated me to getting Google Analytics onto my hubpages.  Only took 5 minutes and it's all done.

Cheers to everybody who has posted above.  It's always interesting to see what others do because we might know about things, but hadn't got round to them until somebody else points out that they are actually important.

I check google and yahoo traffic for 30 days. As long as those 2 metrics are rising, I know the money will keep coming.

Then I check to see which hubs have gotten traffic over 24-hour period.
