Fox News Marks 35 Straight Months as Most-Watched Cable Network in Total Day

The network is finishing this month as the No. 1 basic cable network in total viewers across the 6 a.m. – 6 a.m. time period, marking 35 consecutive months as most-watched in the daypart

Hannity and Tucker Carlson Tonight were the top two cable news programs for the month of May, finishing ahead of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show. Maddow delivered her least-watched month since President Trump came into office.

lol Because that's the only channel Trumpster's watch. The left divides their audience between a half dozen channels at least. DUH!

You should look at the statistics.  It's not even close.  The talk shows on Fox dominate the news cycle.  It's been like this even during the Obama administration.

I have. I've also looked at the studies that consistently show Fox News viewers are the most ill-informed.

Most Fox News viewers believe their savior Trump's assertion that other TV  news outlets are fake (see above). Moderates and liberals split their viewing  among a variety of outlets.

Please provide the studies.  I have my doubts they are from reputable sources.

I was going to post the exact same thing. You and Panther are too fast.

On a related note, the "liberal" New York Times alone has more than 4 million paying subscribers (and growing) or twice the total audience of Fox News.

Not bad for a single city newspaper.

I'm sure you realize there is a difference between being a Cable News outlet and a newspaper.  Two different formats appealing to two different types of consumer.  I could point out that Rush Limbaugh has over 20 million listeners a week.  Not bad for one person.  But, his demographics are much different from that of the New York Times.

Valid point. I just meant that all of these audience numbers are relative.

Otherwise, Rush Limbaugh's own syndicator apparently is the source of that 20 million number, according to the conservative BusinessInsider.

I agree.  Syndication is how radio programs performing well get their rating.

Fantastic image. You've got the hoax media vs. Fox and all the much lesser known outlets and independents.

All those hate hoaxes. Jussie <snipped> hate hoax. Covington Catholic kids hate hoax. Hate hoax and more hate hoaxes. Russian collusion hoax. Climate change hoax. Hoax after hoax. And who are the persons who own all these hoax media outlets? I bet we all know exactly who they are.

Donald Trump is absolutely correct. The fake news media is the enemy of the American people, but more than this, they are the enemies of all that is good and decent in this world.

There are legions of absolute clowns running about. How to spot a clown? They complain about Fox news, the ONE outlet not involved in all the hate hoaxes, and other forms of fake news.

We need criminal charges filed against these purveyors of filth. Persons intentionally profiting off of lies isn't acceptable. I'm proud for the Covington Catholic kids filing lawsuits, but we need more. We need massive reforms.

Has someone been shown to use rumor as basis for stories? Charge them with crimes. Has someone used fake news media stories (no better than rumors) for investigation? That's should lose them their licenses as peace officers, so forth, and so on.

It's another day. I'm thankful to God above for Donald Trump, and all the reforms he's going to bring to this nation.

lol, Of course Fox Fake News has a few more viewers than other cable networks because their audience probably consists primarily of slobbish looking geritol drinking, fried chicken eating IMMOBILE Rickety Elderly Racists and Nazi lovers who can't physically move themselves from the couch without assistance:

As for Sean Hammity? It's just a matter of time for this Nationalist LOSER:

Yes, they have been the top rating news network for 17 years.

"Fox News also continued to beat CNN and MSNBC in total viewers, and also in the A25-54 measurement. FNC averaged 382,000 A25-54 viewers in January, topping CNN’s 363,000 and MSNBC’s 349,000. In total day, averaged 244,000 ahead of CNN with 234,000 and MSNBC with 198,000."

      https://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/january … ws/392408/

Why are they number one -  It could be there are more people that just may enjoy the diversity of the formats presented.  Talk jocks with diverse views. Not each and every talk jocks saying t almost the exact words hour after hour,  as if rehearsed.  In my case,  I find many of the hosts from the opposing networks are overly dramatic and their negativity actual can be seen in their expressions. Hard to watch this kind of drama.  Although we all know some of Fox talk jocks exhibit the same drama ... But nothing beats let's say CNN, every third word is Trump, and every fourth word is a word that shows their destain for Trump. 24/7...

See Randy, that's WHY I try to keep as much distance between me and these last remaining nationalist Trump followers as humanly possible, I try to keep to myself:

The other reason is I don't want to be anywhere near any of them when GOD at the time of his CHOOSING, reigns down upon Donny Boy and his little cult members, for the sensational lightning BOLTS of Retribution and Justice layed upon this abominable oval office will be an awesome yet calamitous sight to witness:

I know you're not religious Randy, but believe it, GOD is watching this atrocious sinful oval office circus and will step in to dismantle it:
