Almost everyday, I am getting notifications about 2 to 3 broken links. That means, going back to the specific article, search for another suitable video, editing etc. Involves some extra work everyday.
    Is it only me?

You are not alone! It's extremely annoying I know but all you can do is to go through the procedure... Click on retest, check if the link is bad or good, check link out of edit mode, remove bad videos if necessary and replace. Repeat.
This is a bug according to HP and they're working on it.

Thanks chef-de-jour, for your response. I followed your suggestions. Out of the edit mode, the videos were working fine.
        Thank you.

I have been having the same problem. It is time consuming and the link seems to be fine when you check it, I know Hubpages is aware of the YouTube problem and I believe they are working on it, but in the meantime is is frustrating.

Thanks Pamela, for replying. So, this looks like a bug. When I checked the links, out of edit mode, the videos were showing fine.
        Thank you for your response.

Are the links really broken? I’m asking this question because there’s currently a bug that HubPages is trying to fix. Video links are being reported as broken when the videos actually play.

If you test a video in your Broken Links report you may find that it works. If this is the case, if you look at your article outside of Edit mode you should find that the video works fine for the public viewing your article.

To get rid of the false broken link warning, you could click “Retest”. This doesn’t work for me, so I click “Ignore” to make the warning go away.

Thanks AliciaC, for sharing the details about how to check, whether the links of the videos are really broken. When I followed your instructions, I found the links were working (that is out of edit mode).
      Thanks for the help.

Hi Chitaranga, I've been getting those too.  I find if I go into edit mode and usually check out the videos to see if they are working, most of the time they are. And then when I select done editing they're all functional without having to do all over again.  If they are still showing up as broken in your account, it usually takes only a short time before this notation goes away on your page. I hope that this helps.

Thanks Lora, for your reply. Yes, I checked the notifications and found the videos were functioning. Looks like a bug, as others have mentioned.
      Thank you so much.

I had 2 rounds of this.

The First Round: An entire list of over 10. All were working. So I clicked retest and all was fine. This happened around a fortnight ago.

The Second Round: 4 bad links. All were indeed down! The YouTube accounts were removed.I replaced them and all was fine. This happened today.

Thank you for your response. It’s good that your links were working, in the first round. In the second round, the links were bad. So, it means that we have to test the links, in case we are getting notifications about the broken links.
      Thank you for the help.

This is an annoying bug. I deleted four or five videos before ai realised it was a glitch. Retested others after that but there were so many to go through.

You are right John. It’s so annoying. If there is a notification, we have to test it, to see whether the link is working or not. Thankfully, most of them are working. Earlier I was not doing it, out of edit mode. Thanks to fellow writers, for all the clarity, due to this thread.
      Thank you for your response.

After realizing that most of the reported bad links were really good ones, now I just hit the retest button instead of doing anything else.  In most cases, the notice eventually disappears.  It if remains on the same post for a matter of days, it probably should then be checked out to see if it is indeed broken.  Hope that bug is fixed soon.

Thank you Peggy, for responding to the query.
Now I am following the same, as you and others have suggested. Previously I didn’t realise that it might be a bug and changed many videos. In fact, all the videos were working, out of edit mode.
      Thank You.
