         Give citizenship to the millions of illegal aliens in the country - that will certainly bring him love.  He can also welcome the caravans of additional illegals currently heading for the border; this, too, will also show his love (at least for anyone not having to foot the bill for their support).
         
         Eventually the country will not be divided, for the masses of Ecuadorians, Guatemalans, Mexicans, etc. will be such a huge majority in America that the very term "American" will lose any meaning.

Keep in mind they promise a lot, but seldom deliver.  I think their shell game has become old...  We can hope they follow the same old playbook. And keep the faith,   if they do go ahead with all the crazy --- we can be rid of them more quickly, can we not?

               No, we can't get rid of them more quickly - like it or not our country is going socialist and will continue the trend.  Governing our country is going international, with the rest of the world determining how we shall act and where our wealth shall go and that, too, shall not change easily. 
               
               Our children are being taught that that is our place in the world and until we change that it isn't going to change.

Again I think most American's will stand up to crazy. If not, America was a failed experiment, was it not?  W can wring our hands or push back. That's all she wrote...                         Not about to argue the fact Biden won Georga, that's a fact at this point. 
                        My point was it's up to American's at this point to choose what they like or don't like. I did confirm my opinion in regards to what I think American's may do, stand up to crazy.  They have a good long history of doing so.

                        It Will be very interesting to see what next. It would be my guess all the Republicans will follow Mitch. It will also be interesting to see them go home at the end of their terms not to return due to being voted out. Politicians don't change, but the people have. I would think we will see lots of brand new shiny young Republicans voted in. The people have become tired of the status quo herd. The Republican party needs a new playbook.

If true, that means any Republican who finally stands up and says what Donald Trump did was wrong will be supported and admired by Americans. Or, did you really mean that Americans except Trumpers (roughly 90% of Republican voters) stand up to crazy? If so, I completely agree. There is tons of evidence to support that statement.

I completely did understand your comment and was trying to make a larger point, that the election of Biden was a repudiation of Trump and his lies and the supporters who eat them up like candy, and was an example of Americans standing up to crazy. In other words,your perception of what it means to stand up to crazy night be in the minority.

                                    We all have opinions, I don't totally agree with yours I think American's, in general, will see rather quickly damage that Biden will cause the Nation. I just trust in Americans to be resilient and quick to see their mistake by voting in Biden. I know you disliked me using the word crazy. But I used the perfect word in my own view.
                                    
                                    Biden most certainly was a repudiation of Trump. The reasons in my mind are clear why many came to dislike Trump.  Very complicated stuff... 
                                    
                                    Could be in the minority, at any rate, 74,222,958 votes is impressive. This last election was strikingly different from any we ever had. It is more than apparent America had more people vote than ever, and one needs to ask themselves why. IMO it was not because Biden was an outstanding candidate.

      Sure can!  You can bring in additional millions of illegal aliens, you can give citizenship to the millions of criminals that have been here for years.  You can tear down the only real effort to control the invasion over our southern border, and you can defund police all over the country.
      
      You can call out the troops to protect Congressmen and women while allowing riots all over the country, you can allow criminals to take over swatches of our cities.  You can tell Israel to put their capital elsewhere, you can stop the project to gain trade equality with China and you can approve of their intellectual theft.  You can restart travel from countries that are hotbeds of terrorism and refuse to vet their travelers and you can again pay for the world's efforts to go green. 
      
      You can do all of these things...but you cannot declare them "damage wrought by Trump" without being called on it.

      I would have a lot more faith that we were about to be privy to an Administration that "repairs the damage" and moves the country forward, if it were being led by Tulsi Gabbard, or even Andrew Yang.
      
      Someone younger, someone less entrenched in the establishment and not merely a puppet of its corrupt machinations (which Biden most assuredly is).
      
      But this Administration WILL move forward with the Global Compact on Migration, the Paris Accord Agreement, 'mending' ties with China, etc.
      
      The US of A WILL move forward into a more globalized and united world... less of a 'Super Power' and more of a partner with co-powerful nations like China, and India as they continue to grow in economic might.
      
      But these changes will come with economic turmoil and hardship for many and America will be forever changed.
      
      What I find amusing about what the future will most likely look like, is the current focus on racism, on black and white, will be irrelevant in ten years, both will be the minority to those we consider of Hispanic heritage, and our language of preference will most likely be Spanish in states like CA, TX, AZ. NV and FL at the least.
      
      For anyone who has traveled to a city like Miami recently, you know of what I speak.

         To be honest, I've met and been friends with so many truly patriotic Hispanics, it doesn't bother me all that much.  It doesn't worry me.

            It does make the current hyper-focus on racism seem myopic.
            
            It's like looking in the rear view mirror and worrying about what you have already passed by as you continue to drive down the highway.
            
            If the population were stagnant, then it would be a far more relevant matter, but by 2030 the "face" of many States, if not the nation, will be decidedly and noticeably non-white.
            
            This is already the case in CA.
            
            The Nation will be majority 'Hispanic'.
            
            I wonder how they will perceive the emphasis put on Social Justice and making amends for past wrongs done by the Nation's forefathers?

               We know that it is not just about numbers but wealth and relative power. Maybe, by the time the Hispanic dominate in numbers and society is reoriented in regards to that, the social justice and making amends would not be so much of an issue. As racial exclusion may not employed to the same extent as has been experienced by so many others from the Anglo. Hispanic is more a cultural designation than a racial one.

         I was at the point that anything is better than Trump and his charted course.
         
         The Trump experiment as "an outsider" has been clearly shown to be a failure from most perspectives. Whatever hardship was coming our way, I had no confidence that Trump was the solution.
         
         In America, during the reign of Trump racial tensions have been exacerbated. With the nature of this society the way it is, it will be a while before that issue will become a minor one. As Panther mentioned, in your very statement about Hispanics, race is still considered and creates anxiety among many.

            They have failed Americans miserably for decades, they serve the corporations and international interests, not Americans.
            
            Trump was a liability at best, a cause for fracture and disaster within our country at worst if he were to remain, he had to go... but the system proved its corruption by force feeding us the Biden alternative, burying the likes of Tulsi and Yang ensuring they had no voice and no support.

   I would like to embellish that comment. Being from Arizona, I may have had the honor to call lots of Mexican-Americans my friends. In fact, when we moved to Arizona in 1954, I thought of "Hispanics" as white people. I thought they had a little bit more pigment in their skin, not unlike Greeks or those from the south of France, etc. They were like me (in case someone objects to using the term "white".) As I look back on my upbringing, thank God I lived in Tucson, Arizona. And, thank goodness I served in the U.S. Navy and befriended many of my Hispanic shipmates from Texas.
   
   It makes me tearful to see how stereotyped Hispanic folk have been characterized by many.

   The situation is not that simple and I have a feeling it's pretty complex. America turning from pure white or shall I say majority white to minority white is going to have  tremendous repercussions. It's not going to be something smooth and in my view could lead to an implosion and it will have any affect all over the world where America will lose is its empire. Racism is not going to go away and 2030 is not very far and we live to see it.

      I disagree, the assimilation works both ways, and works well IMO due to the quick influx in numbers.
      
      The problems we see in our country is not because of the influx of "hispanic" immigrants, it is because of the increasing economic failures in our system.
      
      Those failures are compounded by a government (Congress) that serves the interests of corporations and Wall St. rather than the people, and those corporations and banks want China and others to thrive so that they can continue to increase their profits... at the expense of American jobs and the development of youth in the STEM fields.
      
      America's Universities are pumping out Socialists and Social Justice graduates in greater numbers than they do STEM related degrees.
      
      China has 8 times the amount of higher degree graduates in STEM fields than America does...this is why China is going to dominate the advances in science, medicine, industry in the coming years.
      
      The more we focus on race and Social Justice, the further down the rabbit hole into a failed nation we shall go, these issues do not create new inventions or new technology or new medicines... they just create a new social pecking order, that only serves to pit one type of American against another.... immigrant against non, white against black, gay against straight, the more differences are amplified and focused on, the more rifts are created within.
