Vaccine advisers to the US Food and Drug Administration voted 17-0 with one abstention Tuesday to recommend emergency use authorization of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine in children 5 to 11.

Members of the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee agreed that the benefits of vaccinating younger children appeared to outweigh the risks, but some members appeared troubled about voting to vaccinate a large population of younger children based on studies of a few thousand.  https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/corona … index.html

What is your first reaction to this news?

Any thoughts -- How do you feel about your little loved ones receiving the COVID Vaccine?

And, what would you feel about school mandates for your children to be allowed to go to school? This is a  "what if'...

    From the link:
"... presentations and outcomes for myocarditis can differ, Oster told the FDA’s advisers, and it’s not clear how easily the types of myocarditis can be compared. “Classic” myocarditis, like what was seen before Covid-19, is often linked to infections, but many times a cause is not identified, and it can be serious. Myocarditis can also occur after Covid-19, or from multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, or MIS-C, a rare and serious Covid-19 complication that impacts children.

People who experienced myocarditis following Covid-19 vaccination tended to recover quickly, but data on potential long-term effects is limited, Oster said.

Among 1,640 reports of potential myocarditis in people age 29 or younger in the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System through Oct. 6, 877 cases had been investigated and met the decision of myocarditis and another 637 cases were still under review, Oster said. Among the 877 confirmed cases, 829 resulted in hospitalization and 789 have been discharged. Seventeen cases remain hospitalized, with five in the intensive care unit.

'Not all myocarditis is the same. There may be some similarities in presentation with some or in acute outcomes with others,' Oster said.

'We really need to see what the long-term outcomes for these kids will be. So far, the data for follow-up results is sparse but ongoing follow-up is in progress.'

The vaccine is a risk. Who wants to risk it?
In my opinion, it is child abuse to subject one's child to this vaccine which has risk of side effects.

We go nuts over someone shot on a movie set, but a couple of kids who come down with inflamed hearts and compromised immune systems from the day they are injected is "worth the risk."

    I do not think so.

The ingredients of the vaccine are shot right into the blood stream. The kidneys and the liver are bypassed and cannot protect the body by filtering out what is poisonous.
Pfizer Vaccine: The full list of ingredients for the Pfizer vaccine is:
    mRNA, lipids ((4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2-hexyldecanoate), 2
    [(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide, 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-
phosphocholine, and cholesterol), potassium chloride, monobasic potassium
phosphate, sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, and sucrose.
The Pfizer vaccine does not contain eggs, preservatives, or latex.
Moderna Vaccine: The full list of ingredients for the Moderna vaccine is:
Messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA), lipids (SM-102, polyethylene glycol [PEG] 2000
dimyristoyl glycerol [DMG], cholesterol, and 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine [DSPC]),
tromethamine, tromethamine hydrochloride, acetic acid, sodium acetate trihydrate, and sucrose.
The Moderna vaccine does not contain eggs, preservatives, or latex.
Johnson & Johnson Vaccine: The full list of ingredients for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is:
Recombinant, replication-incompetent adenovirus type 26 expressing the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein,
citric acid monohydrate, trisodium citrate dihydrate, ethanol, 2 hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HBCD),
    polysorbate-80, sodium chloride.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine does not contain eggs, preservatives, or latex.

First, the vaccine is NOT "shot right into the blood stream" - it is injected into muscle tissue.  And when it does get into the bloodstream it IS filtered, along with everything else in the bloodstream.

Second, that terrible list of chemicals is just that; a terrible list designed to frighten people of the unknown.  I note, for instance, that Phizer and J&J contains that deadly chemical "sodium chloride"...commonly called "table salt".  Moderna has "acetic acid"...found in vinegar, body fluids and many plant juices.

Add vinegar and sodium bicarbonate and you will get that awful sounding sodium acetate trihydrate.

As an exercise you might list the chemicals, using chemical nomenclature, in that juicy steak you had tonight, or even the glass of orange juice you had for breakfast.  It will frighten the socks off of you.  Chemical names can be scary if you can't read them and don't understand just how common they are.

There are bad ingredients too such as preservatives: mercury, aluminum and formaldehyde,  and other chemicals such as human serum albumin, antibiotics and yeast proteins.

Thimerosal contains 49.6% mercury by weight and is metabolized to ethylmercury and thiosalicylate. Ethylmercury is contained in many drugs as well as biologicals. Adults and children who are exposed inadvertently to large quantities of ethylmercury acutely (quantities 1000- to 1 000 000-fold greater than those found in vaccines) can sustain permanent neurologic damage and death.6–11 However, no data exist on the capacity of low-dose, chronic exposure to ethylmercury to harm the developing nervous system. Guidelines for chronic exposure to ethylmercury were extrapolated from guidelines for methylmercury (the most common form of mercury found in the environment) established by the EPA, ATSDR, and FDA.4

When medicines are properly swallowed they get filtered much better.
Therefore, the vaccine, which is injected into muscle tissue, gets right into the bloodstream.

At this point, I would not feel comfortable enough to vaccinate a child. The study was too small and too short. And there has been evidence of problems with the group 12 -18 with myocarditis.  My red flag is up.  I have been like a preacher hoping all adults would get vaccinated so we did not have to come to this decision. But here we are...

I just heard the FDA would only provide "emergency uses of the vaccine. It would seem many parents will stop short until the vaccine is fully approved.

FDA labeled schedule 1 for marrijanna. One schedule, means it's harmful to mind and body with no medical benefits. That is horrible lie.

I think FDA is really afraid of being caught up in a mass gencide this time.

"It’s important that the public recognize that, because young children are still growing and developing, it’s critical that thorough and robust clinical trials of adequate size are completed to evaluate the safety and the immune response to a COVID-19 vaccine in this population. Children are not small adults – and issues that may be addressed in pediatric vaccine trials can include whether there is a need for different doses or different strength formulations of vaccines already used for adults."

The UK Government only just within the last month decided to vaccinate 12 to 15 year old children; and then only because school children became the main source of spread of the virus when they returned to school after the summer holidays.

Currently (latest figures published this week) for the UK:-

    •    9% of school children aged between 12 & 15 have covid.
    •    2% of their parents have covid, and
    •    1% of the rest of the population have covid.

Because the UK Government has only recently started to vaccinate children aged 12 to 15, so far only 20% are vaccinated, and it will be near to Christmas before most children in this age group are fully vaccinated.

However, in the UK vaccination of children in this age group is NOT mandatory; under British Law the prime decision is that of the parents, except that the child has the final decision if that child can demonstrate that they are competent to make the decision!

As regards children aged 5 to 11; at this point in the UK they are not spreading the virus like the older age group is, and currently in the UK there are no plans to vaccinate this age group.

About 1% of 66 million UK people is 660,000.
In general People have 99.95 chance of survival of covid.
The vast majority of covid death's are over age 50. fake leaders, leave those kids alone.

Castlepaloma, please read the info more carefully; I did not say 1% of the UK population currently have covid, I said “1% of the rest of the population have covid” e.g. not including children between the ages of 12 & 15 of which 9% have covid, and their parents, of which 2% have covid.

Therefore the actual figure for current infection rates in the UK is not 1% but 2%.

Yep, true to say that thanks to the successful vaccine rollout the chances of surviving covid now in the UK isn’t that far off from the 99.95% that you quote; and yes those over the age of 55 are at far greater risk of dying of covid.  Although the odds of becoming seriously ill with covid, ending up in hospital or suffering ‘long covid’ or dying from covid is significantly greater if you are not vaccinated; and even children do die of covid.

However, the benefit of reducing the spread of the virus by vaccinating children is great, and will save numerous lives.  Yep, children are not being vaccinated for their own benefits, as the benefits of vaccination to them are marginal; they are being vaccinated for the greater good of the community.

Although as I stated previously; the vaccinations are NOT mandatory, and the individual decision is left to the parents and children themselves to make.
