    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: What Is Dog Separatuion Anxiety and How to Reduce It

I haven't looked at your article yet, but there's a huge misspelling in the title. It's 'separation'.

      Very important to proofread.

Edit: You've keyword stuffed the text. Separation (and your misspelled version appears 40 times.

My impression is that you aren't a dog owner or have any expertise and that your article is simply a re-hash of someone else's.

There is a lot of repetition all the way through. And a lot of important information is missing.

Right at the bottom of the article is the sub-heading,

"This article will discuss about the causes, symptoms and treatment of dog separation anxiety."

The last paragraph begins, "The first step on how to reduce it is..."

It's a big mess, to be honest. You need to work on how to structure it so that it provides the best information and proceeds in a logical way.

Totally agree. I also just took a moment and read an article this person wrote on monkeys. Obviously has no experience with monkeys, and suggests litter box training and has statements like "More and more people are adopting pets these days. Whether it’s a cat, dog, bunny, or even a monkey, the domestication of animals has become quite popular in recent years."
The author needs to write about what she knows, not just things that she thinks might bring in some traffic.

Looking at your articles, I can see that you have defined a niche and are pursuing it from different angles, which is the right idea. You also know that you need to keep your keywords in mind. However as theraggededge has pointed out you have overdone the keyword thing to the point of making your articles unreadable. Edit with this in mind and add some photos from Pixabay and you could get somewhere.

In addition to theaggededge's comments there is an excess of white space coupled with an absence of useful information.

The piece is on Discover which leads me to suspect I have misunderstood the standard required to be boosted from HubPages.

Firstly, proofread. Second, get rid of 3/4 of the repeated phrase “separation anxiety.” Much too repetitive all through. The last sub-heading and paragraph should be at the start, not the end.

I have some more suggestions. I notice that all of your articles are about pets. Your profile talks about your love for people and mentions nothing about pets. You should add something to your profile to explain why you like to write about animals and about your experience with taking care of them.

You should also add a bio at the top of the article that isn't featured to explain why you have written about dog separation anxiety. Do you have experience with the topic, or have you researched it?

After you've followed other people's suggestions for improving the article, adding authoritative references to the article would be a good idea, unless you are a pet care expert. If this is this case, you should say so.

You should also remove some of the bold print in the article.
