Pamela has shared an exciting travelogue about her trip to the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic looks like a laid-back country with peaceful people and great places to visit, like Puerto Plata and Samana Bay. The videos are good and give a nice idea about the cultural nuances.
One question I have heard a lot about La Bandera, the national dish of the country consisting of rice, meat and beans. Did you happen to taste it?

This was a wonderful travelogue of the Dominican Republic, Pamela. It is somewhere I would love to visit if I ever had the opportunity. Thank you for the interesting article. Thank you for sharing, Ravi.
Thanks for posting my article, Ravi. It is a laid back country overall. I found the different places to be very interesting and the people so friendly. I only know a few Spanish words, and I don't remember the name of that dish. I did have food that included those ingredients, and I never had any food I didn't like.
I'm glad you enjoyed the article, John. I appreciate your comments.
I hope you both have a good week.
Somehow I didnt see you comment initially, Rosina. I'm sorry, but I see it now. I'm glad you enjoyed reading my article, and that you found the descriptions to have vivid details. I am so glad you like my stories about my travels. I may have some more in the future. Thank you so much, Rosins, for your thoughtful comments.

I loved hearing about your experiences when visiting the Dominican Republic, Pamela. Is this a permanent position for your son and his family as missionaries? I also enjoyed the videos you included in this article. The DR sounds lovely! Thanks, Ravi, for showcasing Pamela's article.
Soundws like a marvelous place to visit, although that traffic with the loaded up vehicles would make me nervous. I'd love to go for the wildlife during a temperate time of the year!
