  no one owns anything forever per cest, however some of us own work that will generate royalties forever, we will be hardly likely to reap the rewards.
  I believe that No one owns land, it passes from one party to another, as does money. No Bugger it we don't own diddly squat. Thanks for making my day by pointing this out. I haven't a clue about the unseen realms, and frankly neither has anyone here, until and if they ever see anything, so would suggest that this, is hypothetical. Hope that statement, meets favourably with you. As I am really at a loss to fully understand the Point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You are making.

Salvation is mine. It was given to me in April 1968 by a precious Friend and Lover of my soul.I cherish it; and I never want to walk the path of unrighteousness. As long as I maintain a relationship with Jesus Christ daily,salvation is mine- a gift no one can take away.

  By definition, no. After I am dead I am no longer living. Do I think my experiences, contributions, and thoughts go to waste? No, but I have a very unique view of life, and the universe. The universe wastes nothing.

My self-confidence.

I built it on my own.

I restore it on my own when it is low.

And, it cannot ever be taken from me, even in death.

Therefore, I own it.

Does it have a price? You cannot place a value on it.

  I agree -- and would add one thing - "my ability to love" .... you could not take that away.... you may be able to break me but then if that destroyed my ability to love it would be "MY PROBLEM" not your undoing!

  Well, all objects of anything material can always be taken away and even some things aren't, like 'rights'.
  
  Even, though I've known some extremely Gorgeous women who have made me hold-my-breath, just by their beauty. Breathing is a normal part of living, but can it be taken away...only in death.

  It was more to make a point. Your brain never really gives it to you, it just sends a signal that starts the breathing process. I suppose by not sending a signal it could 'take it away', but it's not really taking it away - it's just not giving it any more (if we stick with the analogy). In that case, you never really have your breath, your medulla oblongata/brain stem do.

  Believing in GOD the way I do, I won't say that god GAVE man life/breath. I'd say man's breath and life are an essential part of GOD as a whole, that's why they have it. Without man's life, GOD would not be whole, so it is required.

  No you misread the quote. The idea is "I exist, because I think", not "I can be whatever I think I am". The idea behind the quote is such:
  
  If you cannot think, you are not self-aware, and therefore cannot really exist as an individual.

  I think you both misunderstood actually. Descartes was saying that to think implies existance and that is the only thing that anyone can be absolutely certain of. To try to use his quote inversly by saying "If you cannot think, you are not self-aware, and therefore cannot really exist as an individual" is useing an invalid form for argueing that point and anyway your useing Descartes quote the opposite of whate he meant it for, he believed that the fact one exists as a thing that thinks was the only absolutely certain thing there is not that if someone doesnt think they dont exist, he didnt believe that. thats really functionalist though...Hmmm interesting are you a functionalist?

  The key words in what I just said are "AS AN INDIVIDUAL." I'm not implying that not thinking means you don't exist, I'm implying that thinking defines you as an individual capable of self-awareness.
  
  I also wasn't trying to explain this quote to someone who understands the point of the quote already. I was trying to gear this definition towards his ears. He obviously doesn't get the point behind the quote. I was trying to get the person who doesn't understand to crawl, before he tries to walk. Thanks for backing me up, though!

I do not yet own it nor do I know if I ever will but if you are trying to get philosophical I would have to agree with eastern philosophy as opposed to contemporary western in that the only thing you can own that cant be take is freedom and freedom is physical+mental peace so the onlything you could ever have that cannot be taken away is physical+mental peace. but thats just my opinion.
