It is highly commendable to see a Dad promote his children's success with sincere, uplifting actions & words. You are a blessing to your children that will make their lives much better for your efforts.  Truly, you have blessed their lives. Thanks for letting us see this. smile

Yeehaaa! Jennifer and Bryan! Congratulations. Well done!!!!

Baloons going up, confetti coming down...It takes real commitment to do what you do...Keep up the good work...

Jimmy to be proud of your children and to bragg a little about their accomplishments is just the perks of parenthood.
Kindest regards to your wife, to you and the sproutlets

It's wonderful to be proud of your children's efforts and successes.  I've longed for that from my own parents since I could remember and I'm still mostly longing. sad  But I'm learning to let go and somehow they've started showing a bit of pride in the things I do. smile So with this, I know your children knows how much they mean to you.  Keep it up Jimmy.  (Btw, the thread is not dying...heheh)

Jimmy, what a wonderful thing to read this morning!  My children are my world too, and if I could, I would write every post and every hub all about them.  Congratulations to your two shining stars!!  I have to remind you that my absolute favorite Hub of yours is the one that has to do about being RICH - and you describe about how you already are.  Your family provides all the riches that you need.  Cheers, Steph  smile

    Jimmy:

What is a "dance ban?"  And what does it mean that Jenny "lost her first life?"

Hi Maddie , my children changed to a different dance school which meant that they could not dance in competition for 3 months.
when you start dancing you recieve 3 lives, if you win first place, second place or in bigger competitions 3rd place you lose a life if you lose 3 lives you move up to a higher standard.
thanks Maddie I should have explained earlier.....jimmy

Excellent, Jimmy!  Thanks for the explanation.  "Losing a life" sounded like a bad thing, but I see it's actually good!

    lol

Thanks for clearing that up Jimmy. I was going to comment and then I thought, "Dance ban? Jimmy banned his kids from dancing for 3 months? What a bastard, I am saying nothing." lol

    In that case, congratulations. big_smile

Sounds like those kids have the foundation of discipline - and the ability to take tough choices and not slack off the training while they were banned - which will stand them in good stead for success in any field for the rest of their lives.

You are obviously doing a great job as parents. Well done. It really takes something to support kids in serious competition in any field, and to do it with good humor under pressure is truly remarkable.

    Your kids are very lucky.

    Jenny
