You are quite intelligent than me friend. Even after two years, I could not make it yet.I am at $94 mark now!
I think the challenge is to build 210 hubs in a few months instead. LOL
next goal 500 Good for you - happy to hear it
Congrats Habee! You did that in about half the time of most of us. You know what that means, right? You're destined for HP greatness!!! Major congrats on a super accomplishment.
BTW...keep track of all the dates of your accomplishments. You'll enjoy looking back on it one day.
Thanks, KCC! Actually, I feel that I did it in 2 months. When I first joined, I wrote only a couple of hubs. I didn't get busy with HP until the end of August or the first of September.
Even more proof of your skill. You go girl! I'm really proud for you. Keep tearing it up, go crazy, and get filthy rich!
Thanks, Euro.
KCC, I don't wanna be rich - been there done that - divorced it. I would, however, love to make enough extra income for my hubby to be able to retire.
Thanks for all the encouragement, pals!
Good for you Habee. The thrill of those pay-outs never lessens. Here is to many more in half the time.
regards Zsuzsy
I've been meaning to tell you Zsuzsy Bee that your new avatar makes you look so smart, sassy, and serious. I mean that as a compliment just in case that's unclear.
KCC, how sweet of you, my youngest daughter caught me off guard. I have very few pics of me where I'm serious and my kids are always complaining because I'm forever doing something goofy in picture. (Sorry Habee stealing your thread like this)
Crack open the champagne! Congratulations - what a great achievement
Good god! where's the beer???? I don't see beer?? do you see beer?
Awww...you guys are so great! And you're right. I don't think anything I do here will ever match the excitement of that first payout!
I was so excited about the first article I ever sold - for $16. Since then, I've sold articles for as much as $375, but it wasn't as exciting.
How did you sell your hub? Did someone contact you and wanted that specific article?
Yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhh cash money!
Now you just need to figure out how you will go blow it all
It just shows the continous potential if you keep doing what you are doing.
Congrats and I hope you see many more
Shamel - sorry, hubby drank all the beer!
Everone else, thanks so much!
Super job Habee! I hope to feel like you in the near future!
It's a great feeling for atleast what we did on hubpages is been paid for the first time .....
Congratulations and keep up the good work. I hope it really starts snowballing for you now!
ALL RIGHT HABEE!!! I bet that put a huge smile on your face!!!
That's so great! Buy yourself something nice with it! I get thrilled with any little payment, maybe because it's from doing something creative. Good going!
210 Hubs in five months is pretty impressive. No wonder you've made payout before a lot of other people do. Congratulations.
What happens if you don't make payout? do you lose the money you earned? How does that work.
I'm just starting to earn money. I already earned $1.50 this month, (Which is more than I earned in 2 years when I first started here.) Still not earning anything at Amazon though.
If you don't make payout the money rolls over to the following month, and will continue to do so until you reach the month where you hit the payout threshold, then you will receive that payment (plus anything you make between then and the end of that month) at the end of the following month, i.e. if you hit payout in February, you will get paid the total amount up to the end of February at the end of March.
Well done!! I passed my $50 payout threshold in December, so I'll be getting my first payout this month as well!

I just received an email from Paypal saying I had received a payment from Hub Pages. I have been in AdSense for 10 months and finally reached my first payout...happy days! Now, I am looking forward to my next and see if I can make it happen sooner.

After 9 months on HP, I got that email we all anxiously wait for: I made my first payout and it was sent to Paypal. Woohoo!! Yesss! After a lot of stress, hard work, 43 hubs, and 30,300+ views, I can breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, I have a ways to go but this milestone calls for a celebration....

I got my first Google check in the mail today. It was green and for the handsome sum of $107.18. I'm trying not to spend it all in one place. ;->
