Best Article Writing Sites- Any Idea!

   Recently, I am trying to figure out leading revenue sharing article writing sites. One of my friend suggested me Triond-do you have any idea about this site? Please share your experience about the top article writing sites.

      This one (HubPages) works best for me so far.  I only have about 50 articles on there, but Associated Content can be good if you write the right kind of stuff and they make you an offer.  The upfront pay isn't big, but it's extra besides just the revenue-sharing thing.   The whole way things are set up here just kind of has, to me,  the best potential for someone who does what it takes to make the most of it.

         If you're not a US resident, you can't get the upfront payment at AC and the passive income is pitiful.

            Andromida, if you're in India, AC won't pay you upfront so it's not worth it.

   Actually, I've started earning almost as much Adsense revenue on Triond as I am on Hubpages. I see Triond as a place just to put "fluff" articles.

      I signed up with Triond and never did anything because I thought it wasn't a place for fluff.  If it's a good place for fluff (I'm all for fluff a good part of the time), I may look into them more.   (A whole lot of these sites frown on fluff, as you know.  Good to know Triond doesn't.)

      Yes, but you need writing stars now and that means writing there regularly which is something I am not willing to do I earned most of my money at Helium through selling one article in the marketplace but I'm not eligible any more.

         You don't lose your writing stars by not being active - you lose your rating stars. You only have to rate a few articles every week to maintain a rating star.

      I like Helium (the people and the site), but I don't want to have to write to guidelines for something that isn't a sure thing as far as getting paid goes.  I also don't want to compete for work.  ("Either give me an assignment or not, but I want to know, ahead of time, I'm getting paid for writing what you want.")

            I earned a few hundred dollars on Helium's marketplace during my less than a year experience there. I detest the cretins running the site, however.  They change the rules and lie too much for me to resent my being banned from the site.
            
            The money is not worth it, IMO.

                  You are right!  I take every chance I can to bash Helium.  I was described as an "inflamed boil" (among other things) by a steward there and am trying valiantly to continue fulfilling the role.

            Trouble is, I wouldn't be earning that amount for just one short article - first, I'd have to rewrite enough of my existing articles to get some writing stars.  Then I'd be competing with others on Marketplace topics.  Then if I'm lucky, I'll hit the jackpot and sell one of them. 
            
            So in fact, you have to write a lot of articles before you get to that one article that makes the sale.

   Bukisa is also not that bad. It pays pretty well per view.
   
   Textbroker (US only) pays you per article. It's not amazing pay, but it's usually more than what I get from an article on AC.
   
   I actually earn a decent amount on helium solely from views, but only on about 1/3 of my articles so it's like "meh".
   
   There are other ones like gather, newsvine, and epinions that pay on shared revenue, but I never earned that much there.
   
   And adsense wise there's also xomba (50% adsense), oocuz, qondio, oondi, greendoc which offer 70-100% adsense.
   
   Triond lets you earn from both its shared revenue as well as your own adsense. It's 50% direct share (so you share the money, not how often the ad is published), which can be a good or bad thing depending on your performance.
   
   There are also lots of shared blogs sites that let you put their adsense (like orble. I made a few bucks on there too even though I only posted like 5 posts and did not promotion). What's bad about shared blogs site is that you don't get the full adsense like on blogger, but what's good is that you're more likely to get traffic since there's a community and the site itself should have some google juice.

   There are a lot of adsense sharing sites, its best to spread your work around but also to select your best options.
   
   plus give garbage to the garbage sites, nothing wrong with writing for AC, for example. But dont give them anything worth reading as their pay scale is insulting. Just rewrite some of your content, run it through spellcheck and submit. Read their suggested topics list to find keyword rich titles for your huhpage articles

    I discovered Suite101, and i'm pleased so far. Started writing there 3 weeks ago, earned a little over fourteen dollars when i checked a couple of hours ago and have 15 articles for now.
    They tend to be a bit more strict about what they want and how they want it written, but i love it. They kind of helped improve on my writing.

          From what i understand, if you decide to leave, your articles are yours. So i guess we own the rights to our articles.

                That means i must stick with them. So long as the earnings are good for now. Didn't pay much attention to the copyright issue. Must have that in mind when i join other similar sites in future.

                   Yes, the copyright issue is one you have to watch. It's not big deal if you're writing stuff you're never likely to use later.  But personally, I prefer to play it safe and stick to sites where I can remove my content if I ever want to.

    The best option to earn from your writing is by having a blog and using adsense. Everything else should revolve around promoting your blog. There is nothing better than having your own platform. It is not hard to make 1000$ a month with adsene these days.
