divine preservation of the scriptures is just as much a doctrine as that of divine inspiration. Both doctrine as thought in scripture and evidence by internal and external powers.Doctrine of preservation is based upon the following scriptures.psalms 12:6,7extend of preservation "w0rds" the agent of preservation"thou"period of preservation for ever,pasalms119:89,152,160the word of the Lord is settled in heaven, forever, enduring isaiah 40:68Gods word stand forever doctrine of preservation bear upon the New Testament books 2timothy 3: to inspired1peyter 1:23,25incurruptible,lives forever, abideth, endureth.
I like this.
Gotta look up those Scriptures.
Are you talkin' literal preservation or preservation in the memories of people, or both?
Good Scriptures! The location of one was iffy (there's no Isaiah 40: 68) unless my eyes are off tonight (ha) but Amen to the preservation of His word.
P.S. His "word" is Jesus also. Jesus is the Word made flesh...
What do you mean people will preserve or live forever?
...People will preserve the word forever?
...Um...God will preserve it, yes.
Or live forever? People can live forever Spiritually, yes.
Sorry, but your posts are choppy and rather hard to understand.
Good topic, though.
when a person saved by the Lord JESUS CHRIST ACCEPT WHEN THE ARE ALIVE AND THE TIME WHEN DEATH WILL HAPPEN WILL GO DIRECTLY TO HEAVEN WITH GOD,
Yes I'm sure I'm saved.
It's a matter of free will, though.
I believe that a person can backslide if they choose to deny Jesus Christ.
But those who Love the Lord have help from Him. He will keep them and bless them if they Love Him and let Him.
Please don't type in all caps. It is interpreted as shouting by other users.
I Love the Lord. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I prayed for God to save my soul. I confessed my sins and accepted His sacrifice as atonement for my sins, and want to follow Christ.
Your turn.
Are you saved?

I hesitate when I hear of see someone quote the Bible as their argument. I thought Jesus denied thatIf I lord the scripture over you, is that not exactly as the pharisees, scribes and Sadducee did, which resulted in the crucifixion? If I love you without the scripture telling me to, is that not...

What practicing Christian can claim that some people are "irredeemable"?
by Eric Dierker 7 years ago
Can a normal human rightfully claim that their interpretation of the Bible is the only correct one?Can this notion of "I am right and you are wrong" really exist in a healthy Christian? I am beginning to think that it cannot. It is becoming a little obvious that those who proclaim their...
