      I have cruised on Yangtze in China this summer.It is so amazing.The cruise is beautiful and scenery is splendid.

   i stayed in where it was not so hot .This summer has been very hot!! i did get out a little but for the most part stayed cool!! what did you do?

      I spent 3 weeks in the Galapagos which was fantastic.  It's so funny you mention it being so hot, I live in Canada and we really excited about hot weather since we only get a couple of months of it a year.

   Haven't had it, yet. OH, Isaac and I are off to the Isles of Scilly, 40 miles or so west of Land's End, in the middle of the Atlantic, next Saturday.

   Summer is still here, funny how chilly it got though this week, but I have found I like it right here in my own backyard. Nice patio with water feature and fish. My dogs and the kids in the pool and birds singing and my Q. What could be finer?

   I just experienced (still) my first summer in the deep south of the USA, and mostly Ive been one big grease spot
   
   Hot , humid n sticky
   
   Next summer I definately intend to be living near a river, and exploring this beautiful state more.

      I have been to Pa , during part of the Winter ( thanksgiving, Christmas) and it was a spectacular wonderland!!

    my summer vacation came last march, spending a month in chile.  very good.
    
    of course, that forced me to spend the summer here in this drought infested area.  very bad.

    I have some hope to get some vocations in next month. For this purpose, I get a small apartment at a hill station form Hank Freidin reasonable price already, in respect to manage my budget as well, because it is very difficult to manage residence at the spot. I always choose such places that have calm environment & natural beauty as well.
