1-99 Firemaking Guide 2012 Runescape - How to get 99 Firemaking Guide in Runescape
Firemaking (abbreviated FM or fm) is a non-member and member’s skill. This skill is quite easy to train and goes pretty fast. There are also some helpful items which can increase the amount of experience you get, so it takes even less time to get 99 firemaking. The items are listed at the bottom of the hub.
Now to the guide which is F2P and P2P.

The number in brackets tells you the amount of logs needed to burn them down.
1-15: Normal logs (61)
15-30: Oak logs (183)
30-45: Willow logs (535). You can make up to 108k xp per hour.
F2P players have to continue with burning willow logs. F2P players need approximately 145k willow logs to get 99 in firemaking.
The rest of this guide is only for members.
45-99: Maple logs (96096). This will cost the player about 4,8M – 5M and you can make about 162k xp per hour.
An alternative would be to train with yew logs at level 60 to 99. This only needs 63k yew logs and you can make about 243k xp per hour but it costs about 30M. So, it is advisable to do the maple method, but if you have the money, you can also burn yew logs in order to achieve 99 firemaking.
83-99: You can also train at Jadinkos. You make about 300k xp per hour and it doesn't cost anything!
New way to get 99 Firemaking (FM)
Since there was a new update concerning training firemaking, you can now also just light one fire and then add more logs to the already burning fire. This way, you can get more xp and getting 99 firemaking becomes easier and while training firemaking you can also do something aside, because with this method getting 99 firemaking has become "AFK". And also, the more people use the same fire, the more xp you and the others will get in addition!
I highly recommend you doing this method and using maple logs in order to get your desired 99 firemaking skill cape.
As you can see the 99 firemaking training is pretty straightforward. I strongly suggest you to read along for items and places and summon familiar that will help you getting 99 firemaking faster.
