Farming Guide 1-99 Runescape 2012 2013 - fastest 99 Farming Guide with Plants and Trees (+Locations) 2012

Updated on August 18, 2013

This guide is devoted to the Farming skill. I will tell you about the best and fastest way to train farming 1-99.
In the first part, you will read about two types of tree namely normal trees and fruit trees which are the best ones to get 99 farming and in the second part about other helpful items and methods that can make your 1-99 farming training more successful. The third part will be a short list of places where you can find patches and also should use them.

99 Farming Skill Cape

The first part is built after the following idea: First come the tree names and then the seed you need (although it is quite straightforward how the seed is called – there is only a difference in the oak tree, because the seed is called acorn). Then comes the time it takes to grow (in average) that is given in hours and minutes and after this the sort of basket which has to be paid to the people near the patches. They will take care of your tree, so it won’t get diseased or anything else.

Normal Tree Patches (Locations)

mbyL's 1-99 Farming Guide 2012 using Normal Trees

1-17: You do the quest “Fairytale part one” and get directly to level 17.

17-30: Oak trees, acorn seed, 2h 40mins

30-45: Willow trees, willow seed, 4h, apple baskets needed

45-75/99: Maple trees, maple seed, 5h 20mins, basket of oranges needed

75-99: If you are rich, then you can plant magic trees, it takes 8h to grow in average, you need 25 coconuts to protect it and you get 14k xp per tree!

Fruit Tree Patches (Locations)

mbyL's 1-99 Farming Guide using Fruit Trees

There are separate patches for fruit trees and normal trees. You should use both patches in order to get 99 farming faster. The seed name is always analogous to the tree name where not stated otherwise. It takes all fruit trees to grow 16h without exception.

27-33: Apple trees, 9 raw sweetcorns

33-39: Banana trees, 4 apple baskets, but I recommend you not to pay, because the seeds are cheap anyway and it would be a waste of money.

39-42: Orange trees, 4 baskets of strawberries

42-51: Use curry seeds, 5 baskets of bananas

51-57: Pineapple trees, 10 watermelons

57-68/99: Papaya trees, 10 pineapples

68-99: Palm trees, 16 papayas (if you can afford it then use this method, because it is very fast).

Special Tree

78-99: Calquat trees, has to be planted in Twai bo Wan area, 21h 28mins in average, 8 poison ivies.
