    Hi Pamela!
This is an important health article, related to various foot problems. I have heard about most of them. Corns are a common problem, and in grown toe nails as well, especially in elderly people.
Thank you for sharing the specific reasons, which causes these troublesome foot problems, and how to take care or cure them.
As always, a valuable information shared by you. Thank you.

Thank you so much for posting my article Chitrangada. Most of these foot problems are fairly common, but people don't always know what to do about them. I have seen most of them as a RN, plus I had a corn one time. The over-the-coiunter worked great for me. Have a good week Chitrangada.

Thank you Chitrangada for sharing this article, and thank you Pamela for writing this for us. It seems that foot problems are so common. I'm thankful that I've not had any of the problems you mentioned, but now in my 70's I'm experiencing arthritis in my toes similar to the joint paint/swelling in my fingers and thumb joints. It slows me down a bit, but nothing's going to stop me.

A very informative and helpful article Pamela. Foot problems can be very nagging and troublesome. My mother has been suffering since many years with one or the other foot problem. It is due to her diabetes, diabetic neuropathy is something she has to put up with. Some home remedies and physiotherapy did help to some extent. Thanks Chitrangada for sharing this important article.

I am glad you found this article informative Vidya, but I am sorry to hear about your mother. Diabetic neuropathy is a common problem, and those patients must treat their foot problems quickly for a good result. Thank you so much for your comments.

Pamela's articles are always very helpful and informative. I always appreciate your medical articles, Pamela. These foot problems are very common, but I think many people do not take them seriously. I believe that foot care is extremely important, and that any symptoms of such diseases should never be ignored. Thank you for sharing this valuable information with us.

Thanks Chitra Di for sharing the link to Pamela's article.

Blessings and love to both of you.

Those who go through an entire life without any type of foot problem are fortunate.  Thanks for writing this informative article Pamela, and Chitrangada for sharing it.  Years ago I had surgery for Morton's neuroma on both feet about a year apart.  I now have some arthritic changes with age.  Wearing good supportive shoes help.
