John, your poetry is intriguing, but it certainly gave me a scare now that I am alone at home, and it is nighttime. Even the quote by Shakespeare was intimidating. I hope my family returns soon, and I can find the fun in it too. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing John's interesting post.

That sounds super scary! I’d prefer to sit and watch movies at home with my doors and windows closed. This is a wonderful poem that gets Halloween alive even in the minds of those who never got to celebrate Halloween! Stay safe! wink

Farah, I am pleased I succeeded in making this scary. I thought my first draft sounded a little childish, so I changed it up quite a lot. I have never celebrated Halloween, so I was hoping I could capture it.

Do daredevils experience shivers and terror? No, they probably feel fantastic while having adventures and seeing haunting things. Yes, yes. You are right; I enjoyed it. big_smile
Every October, I fall in love with monsters like never before. Lol! smile
Loved it, John. How about some ghosts and spirits on a rollercoaster? Don't you think it will be more adventurous? How about sharing some trick n treat sweets with real ghosts? I am looking forward to a Halloween day when all these unexpected & abnormal things I desire gets possible. Lol wink
    Take care, my friend!

    Thank you for sharing, Pamela!
    Blessings always!

You make me laugh, Misbah. Yes, I am sure that is how they feel...excited, just like you feel riding a rollercoaster. Why not have ghosts and spirits riding a rollercoaster...I remember riding a ghost train as a child...going through a tunnel with all kinds of scary creatures jumping out at you. smile Have dare-devilish Halloween.

Wonderful imagery, John. Your poem perfectly captured Halloween's scary elements with a touch of fun and frolic. The ending up with William Shakespeare was really cool. Thanks for sharing

    Thanks for sharing Pamela

    John...
It's hard to believe you haven't experienced Halloween...
    Your words are awesome.

Much better than those of us who have been trick or treating.

Hi Brenda. Thank you, but that is probably because I have to use my imagination more to express it.

    Hello John!
A brilliant piece of poetry, and may I call it creatively scary, filled with the essence of Halloween. Well done and well crafted.
Thank you for sharing. Thank you Pamela.
Best wishes to both of you.
