    John
You made me laugh by saying you try to guess what my word prompt is going to be.
I rarely even know myself until the last minute.
Maybe I'll try tuning into your thoughts...
Who knows, maybe I'll be able to read your mind across the universe.

I found your poem, "Bored Bobby" to be quite cute.
He's not so bored when his dad says he has some chores for him to do.
I suppose people who are bored do complain a bit.  So the trick, I guess, is stay busy.

Lol!  Your fun fact certainly made me laugh.  No...I had no clue, but maybe it was Bobby's mother.
After all, she did say his father was boring.

In your poem, "BOREDOM ~ an Acrostic Poem" you tell us boredom is a state of mind which only you can overcome.
So true.  It is an individual mindset, which we can change if we reach out to do something.

In your Haiku you point out that nature is never bored.
I hadn't thought about it before, but things in nature do keep a busy schedule.

All of your quotes are fantastic as well as the videos.

    My favorite is:

Are you bored with life? Then throw yourself into some work you believe in with all your heart, live for it, die for it, and you will find happiness that you had thought could never be yours.
    — Dale Carnegie

I'll post a link in the word prompt article

What an excellent response to the word prompt. Your poems are always a pleasure to read. As usual, I enjoyed reading your poems. I loved reading Bored Bobby, Acrostic & Haiku. Oh Misbah,
My sincerest apologies for not replying to your comment earlier. I did read it but thought I had responded. I am so sorry....the dreaded cookie monster must have stolen my reply. He may be cute but he is dastardly lol.
I would never intentionally not post a reply to a comment by you My Friend. Thank you as always for your kind words, and I am glad you found my poetry a treat to read. I am pleased you also enjoyed the quotes. Bless you always.

Cute little poem on Bobby's boredom, John. When kids get bored, asking them to help with some chores sees them off .... they suddenly remember, they have so much to do (ha, ha ....)
The quotes are nice, as also the acrostic poem and the haiku.
Boredom has become pretty interesting here, John !!
Thanks to Brenda and the creativity her word prompts inspire.
