Higher than the Rooftop : The Haze...
Cloudy…misty…foggy…the haze was sickening.
Wish it should have rained instead. Well, maybe the rain could have soaked all up the ache I’ve been feeling. I knew this day would come…I mean, you could be smiling in the sunset, then you could be crying in the night.
I just never thought it could hurt like this. Yeah, it’s a part of fallin’, to take a fall…but with him, soaring…it was a crazy fall. Gently I fell…now, the hurt is cutting me inside gently, too. Crazier than a one big blow, breaking me little by little, pieces by pieces…it’s killing me.
It was a cloudy, starless night. I wasn’t in the mood and it was a pretty lame day so I thought of goin’ to the top to freshen up. Found him standing there wearing that vague face. I knew from that look there’s gonna be some thunder…I knew there’s gonna be a rainfall…and I knew I would gonna be sick.
But the rainfall never came Though lightning has struck after some thunder…breaking the link between us.
Cloudy…misty…foggy…the haze was sickening.
And so I am standing here, in this reserved rooftop…without him…
I don’t know if he’ll come back…
My heart never met his heart on the haze…
And so I am standing here, scared to death…
Scared the haze would blur him what I really wanna say…
It came over me in a rush
when I realized that I love you so much
that sometimes I cry
but I can’t tell you why
why I feel what I feel inside
how I try to express
what’s been troublin' my mind
but still I cant find the words
but I know that some things got a hold of me
baby someday I’ll find a way to say
just what you mean to me
but if that day never comes along
and you don’t hear this song
I guess you'll never know
It came over me in a rush
when I realized that I love you so much
that sometimes I cry
but I can’t tell you why
why I feel what I feel inside
and when I say inside I mean deep
you fill my soul
and that’s something I can’t explain
its over me
