John, I loved all the poetry on Christmas. The first poem, "The True Christmas" which includes stanzas from other fellow writers is amazing because there is good flow and rhythm. The next poem, "Wish Him Merry Christmas" is heartfelt and very touching. I enjoyed the last poem, "Yuletide Wish" as well. Thank you for your mesmerizing poetry because I have started to feel the spirit of the season as well this early morning.

Great collection of Christmas poems. Beautiful flow and well crafted.
The festivals do bring hope and positivity, but it’s not the same for everyone.
As always, beautiful and creative piece of writing. Thank you for sharing.
Merry Christmas John, to you and your family.
Thanks Rosina for sharing John’s work.

Chitrangada, your encouraging and kind words are always greatly appreciated. Yes, the times when many of us celebrate can be the loneliest and most difficult for others.
I wish you and your family joy this season and beyond.

Thanks Rosina for posting this one for John

    John...
    These are absolutely wonderful.

It's sad that many children feel this way...missing a parent.

I've never experienced Xmas on the sand or hot weather, but right now it is 55° F and the temperature is climbing.

    Rain is in the forecast.

This ia a very odd Christmas.   First time I can remember going outside without a winter coat on Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas! Have a wonderful time.

Thank you, Brenda. It was shaping to be a sweltering hot Christmas Day but suddenly it started to storm thundering and pouring...and has cooled it down.
Sitting back listening to Christmas music and drinking beer...great stuff!

Let's hope your New Year's eve is dry.

Sounds pretty good except for the pouring down rain & thunder.

It's suppose to start raining here in a couple hours & last all thru Christmas Day.

We went to my Mother's for Christmas Eve.
Getting ready for a few hours sleep before cooking Christmas Dinner.

Maybe the storm will pass...but at least it's cooled down the temperature.

    Merry Christmas & Enjoy

I loved the first poem with the three added stanzas. It all flowed together. Each poem is excellent. The one about the little girl missing dad is sad, and we know that happens all too often. I appreciate the Christmas cheer in the last poem. Thank you for making Christmas special. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Thank you for sharing John's poems, Rosina.

Thank you very much for your response to each poem, Pamela. I thought I should leave the most positive one to finish on. I am glad I could add to your Christmas being special.

Truthfully I have never been a big fan of poetry. I have nothing against it. It's just not my preferred genre of writing. Having said that, I am a huge fan of John's poetry.  The man has game!!!!!

Bill, you will give me a big head. I have had my poetry rejected by publishers because I don’t always follow the “rules” perfectly but if my readers enjoy and appreciate it..I don’t care smile thank you my friend.

I hope that your Christmas was a good one, John.  You shared some of the feelings regarding Christmas in your poems for those who are alone, homeless, without parents, etc.  It can bring good feelings, and others not-so-good for some people.  Thanks for sharing John's poetry with us Rosina.

We had a quiet but nice Christmas thank you Peggy. None of our children could be with us due to COVID and other reasons, unfortunately. But we visited a couple of weeks ago and exchanged presents.
Thank you for reading my poetry and thoughts on how Christmas is not the same for everyone.
