Read Rosina's true story about a curse in a place where she lived.

This is a very interesting story, Rosina. I wonder if there is a curse on that apartment. I really don't believe in coincidences. It is odd that both times it was the older female that was afflicted. Thanks for sharing this interesting tale.

I hope you are having a good week.

Thank you, Pamela for sharing the link to my story. I am glad you found it interesting. We will never know for sure if it was a curse at all. But it does look like a curse to me after the course of events that followed. I hope you are having a good week too.

This is a very interesting but disturbing story, Rosina. It seems more than coincidental that two consecutive neighbours contracted cancer. I think it was fortunate that your family moved away.
Thank you for sharing this, Pamela.

Yes, the story is interesting as well as disturbing. I do feel blessed that my Dad's job got transferred and we moved away without experiencing more of the tragic mystery. Thank you, John, for reading and commenting. I truly appreciate it.

    Hello Rosina!
Thank you for sharing this well written story. It’s sad that both your female neighbours had to suffer from this life threatening disease. It’s difficult to forget such incidents throughout the life.
I don’t know about curse, but I believe that it has something to do with ‘Vastu’ and it’s effects, which can be good or bad.
Thank you for sharing this. Take care.
Thank you Pamela for sharing Rosina’s story.

    Rosina..
It's strange that cancer affected both of these families.
I'm not sure about a curse...but perhaps something in the building was making them ill.
There are alot of things like old paint that can cause an illness.
They have warnings here about asbestos in older homes.
Then again..it seems certain towns around here have higher rates...perhaps something in the water or air.
Still great to know your family left that area.

    Interesting article

It was rather a moderately new building. Perhaps in the air or water. Since it only happened to the consecutive neighbor ladies, it looked like a curse to me. Thank you, Brenda, for taking out the time to read this article. Much appreciated.

        Rosina...
        I'm not familiar with curses.
I've heard about them, but I was not raised to believe in them.
Funny thing though...since I was raised with superstitious & I believe in ghosts.
I just don't know much about them...other than in the movies.

Yes, it's okay Brenda. We all don't know/believe everything. I wasn't raised with superstitions and ghosts but came to know about them gradually. Thank you for coming back and commenting.

Rosina has created an intriguing story. I had the same idea as Brenda when I read it. Perhaps something in that part of the building or outside near the apartment was affecting susceptible people. I hope that wasn’t the case, though, because it could affect other people who move into the area.

Yes, Linda, you are right. It only affected two consecutive neighbor ladies in the same apartment. So it seemed to me that a curse had befallen on that particular apartment. Thank you for your insightful comments. Much appreciated.

As always, an excellent read, Rosina. It certainly appears to be more than a coincidence. I am glad your family left that place. I agree with Brenda and Linda. But who exactly knows the truth? Wallahu a’lam(Only God knows the truth.)

We had experienced some unusual incidents in our home in Pakistan in 2003. I was around 11 years old. In the period of three years, four of our family members passed away. Every nine months, there was a death. My parents sold that house out of fear. That property was incredibly important to my parents, but they had no option but to leave it. However, no similar incident happened with the new family that moved into that residence. They've been living there for 15 years.
Only God knows the real truth!

Some strange things also happened to us in our home in Birmingham, UK, in 2016. My grandmother died in that home; she was suffering from schizophrenia in her last days, and she often used to tell us that there are some girls in her room, sometimes on her bed, sometimes under the bed. She would frequently knock on the wall, claiming it was a door through which the girls entered her room. We always believed she was experiencing hallucinations, but who knows? When she died, some neighbors told us that the landlord's mother had also died of schizophrenia some weeks before we moved into that home. We sensed a connection and left that house.

There are many things in our world that cannot be explained. Sorry for the lengthy comment, but I really wanted to share. smile

Thank you for sharing Rosina's article, Pamela.

Blessings and Love to both of you!

Your experiences are very interesting, Misbah. I look at science for explanations of mysteries, but I although I think it’s the best I can do at the moment, I am open to other ideas. Some scientific theories about the nature of reality are very strange to consider, and there is a lot that scientists don’t know. The topic is certainly fascinating!

Yes, the topic is fascinating and not everything about them can be explained by science and scientists. Thanks for coming again, Linda. I appreciate it.

They are truly appreciated.
