    Please read Misbah’s excellent poem:

Misbah this is quite a powerful poem that likens one member of a relationship to an eagle that must be free to fly alone. An enjoyable read.

Beautiful and heartfelt poem, Misbah. Such things do happen in many relationships. One should learn the lesson, and move on. Because, there is no point looking back. Life gives us many new and better opportunities.
      Thank you for sharing.

Chitra Di, I'm glad you found the poem heartfelt and beautiful. Yes, I agree that such things do happen in relationships, and most of the times moving on is the best and only option a person has. I believe life is a journey that must be carried on with a positive attitude. Everything that comes our way, whether as a blessing or a lesson, should be accepted and praised.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting. Your kindness is very much appreciated smile

        Have a great day ahead!
Sending many Blessings and Love to you!!

I am glad that despite her emotional attachment, she let him leave and soar high up like an eagle. I loved the poem. Often in life we meet people of this kind, and we have to let them go in a similar way. It shows her strength and belief in herself as well. All the best, Misbah.

Thanks to John for sharing Misbah's post.

    Misbah
This is such a heartfelt piece.

It is so unfair when one leaves after receiving one's kindness.
The teardrops leave a permanent stain that won't go away.
The only hope is one day the person might realize the pain you have suffered & feel regret, but nothing can change it.

Only an attitude of stone & not an ounce of caring can help it to subside.

    Great write.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback, Bredz. Unfortunately, I believe that not everyone feels regret, and even if they do, I do not believe that it can help. I've only seen a few people who regret and understand their mistakes and try to solve the problems. But then I believe the other person's feelings have been so badly harmed that they see no other option but to move on. Sometimes we smile and pretend that someone's attitude does not bother us when, in reality, it tears the soul apart. Eagles, on the other hand, will soar. Pigeons, no matter how hard they try, cannot accompany Eagles. smile

Please take care and keep smiling!
      Blessings and Love to you!!

I found this beautiful poem to be a powerful take on a relationship that does not survive, Misbah. A movie was the incentive for this interesting poem. I enjoyed reading your poem.

Thank you for posting this article, John.

That movie must have really touched your heart.  Your poem portrays a broken relationship that obviously meant more to one of the parties than the other.  Thanks John for sharing Misbah's poetry with us.

Beautiful poem with deep emotions. It is better to let go and be free of the torture of unrequited live. Only  after that can she soar like the magnificent eagle. Thanks for sharing Jodah.
