You very well capture the essence of Rumi's quote-- The vastness and the minuteness of the Universe.

You've created a lovely poem, Misbah. I've heard of the theory that you've described before, but I've never seen it expressed so well. Thank you very much for sharing the article, John.
This is lovely poem you have composed inspired by Rumi's quote, Misbah. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I think it's by pure coincidence that I am also writing a short story inspired by a famous quote but not by Rumi. I loved all of your poetry.
Thank you, John, for sharing Misbah's quote.
Rosina, thank you so much for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed it. I was just reading some Rumi quotes last night, and as I was reading one of them, some exciting thoughts came to mind, and I didn't wait to start writing them down in the form of a poem. I'm looking forward to reading your hub.
Have a great weekend
Blessings and love

Thank for posting Misbah's wonderful poem John.
You have expanded on that Rumi quote so beautifully! Thanks John for sharing her poem and its inspiration with us.
all part of this vast universe.
Your words paint this picture so well.
I can't tell you how everything I look at reminds me of Ron. It's like he is part of it all.
The saying Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust comes to my mind.
We all return to the earth to become part of it.
I love the ending where you say to light a fire in your soul & find someone to help keep it burning.
This is life. We are life.
Kind of like when you feel a warm breeze blow across your face.
Bredz, thank you so much for your very kind and sweet comment. This, I agree, is life. We are life itself.
Ron is now a soul, and he is always around. May God grant you the patience and courage you need. Ameen! I can understand your pain.
You are correct that we are all a part of this huge universe. We are all linked. A soul connection is something that even death cannot break... It continues indefinitely. Much Love
Take care and stay healthy.
Blessings and Hugs!!
I really enjoyed this one.

Please read Misbah's beautiful poem "Bury Them in the Depths of the Earth".This poem talks about life in general from a viewpoint of a person who is a bit frustrated and tired with life and has tried to portray her emotions in the shape of a beautiful poem. Thanks for this intense imagery...
