I love your poem, Misbah. It would have been hard to forgive him for all he put her through, but she did anyway. Blessings.

Hello Misbah!
This is a beautiful response to the word prompt, Forgiveness. I liked, how you have highlighted the theme, through your well crafted poem.
I firmly believe that Forgiveness is important to move forward in life, however difficult it may be to do so.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you John for sharing this in the forum.
Chitra Di, thank you so much for sharing your lovely thoughts with me. Yes, it is not always easy to forgive someone who has wronged us. I completely agree. Thank you so much for reading and your kind comment. Much appreciated!!
Take care and keep smiling!
Blessings and Love!!
I really enjoyed reading your poems about forgiveness, Misbah. In the first poem she had so much to forgive, but she did it. Then, God does tell us to forgive others. I think this is an excellent response to Brenda's word prompt.
Love and Many blessings.
Thank you for posting Misbah's article, John.
Pamela, I am so glad you enjoyed reading my response to the word prompt. Thank you so much for your very kind and sweet comment, dear friend. I hope you are doing well.
Please take care and stay safe.
Blessings and Love as always!!
Thank you for posting Misbah's work, John.
I loved your response to Brenda's prompt a lot, Misbah. The poem is simply beautiful highlighting the way she forgives him although she has a lot to forgive. Like Chitrangada, I also think that by forgiving others, we can move forward in life, no matter how hard the forgiveness part may be.
However difficult it may be to forgive one for a transgression, it ends up being a freeing experience for the person who forgives the other person. Misbah's poem about heartbreak over a broken one-sided romance speaks to this. Thanks John for featuring her work.
Thank you so much for reading and for your very kind and thoughtful comment, dear Peggy. I believe that while it is not always easy to forgive, it is often the only option available
Your kindness is greatly appreciated, dear friend.
Take care and keep smiling.
Blessings and Love!!
Misbah
In your article you tell us we all have reasons to forgive someone but it gives us much joy once we release the pain of being hurt.
Your poem, "She Forgave Him For All The Cuts And Wounds" is a powerful piece which shows the lengths a woman will go to set herself free & save herself & the soul of the one she loves.
It depicts a woman who forgives the man she loves despite having her heart broken numerous times.
He lied, he pretended to care, he committed many wrongs against her but yet she forgave him.
You say he didn't love her, but I find that hard to believe.
He wouldn't go to all the trouble of hiding things from her if he didn't care.
He just simply didn't understand how to love one person.
But as she continued to forgive him, he felt the love.
God loves forgivers & brings hope helping to heal those wounds.
Even in death, she stood by his side. She forgives him.
Love is pure.
She forgave him for the evolution of both of their souls.
Her forgiveness freed them both.
Their souls were set free.
Awesome reminder about the power of love.
One can forgive anything if his heart is right with God.
I'll post a link in the word prompt article.
Bredz, what a wonderful response to my poem. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond so thoroughly. You are so observant. These words of yours prompted me to reflect.:
You say he didn't love her, but I find that hard to believe.
He wouldn't go to all the trouble of hiding things from her if he didn't care.
He just simply didn't understand how to love one person.
But as she continued to forgive him, he felt the love.
You left me speechless; you are right that he felt the love; possibly he tried to love her as well, but maybe didn't understand how to love one person; otherwise, why would he make an effort to hide things from her if he didn't care. I appreciate your insightful comments.
Yes, the power of love is the most powerful thing. Her love for him was pure and strong, which is why she remained by his side even in death. I believe that when a woman truly loves someone, she goes far beyond the love that maybe a man cannot even imagine. Please accept my apologies in advance if any men are reading it. This is simply my opinion based on what I've observed in my life.
Once again thank you so much, Bredz. Take care and keep smiling.
Much Love and Many Blessings to you and your loved ones...
Hey Misbah...
I'm so glad you loved my response.
As for the men....well, they know how it is...
They just don't want to admit it.
Get ya some sleep.

Misbah has written an excellent article in response to Brenda's prompt. The science behind laughter and how the limbic system comes into play is very enlightening. I also loved the jokes in the end. Thanks for sharing. The link is as below.https://hubpages.com/literature/33-Joke … -and-Smile
