What a beautiful response to Brenda's word prompt!  Men may have more muscle mass (percentage-wise), but women are strong in so many other ways!  Good work, Vidya!

    Vidya
In your article you talk about how women today are brave and succeed against great odds.

They don't allow their insecurities & fears to overwhelm them.

In your poem, "Women find Strength in Faith" you tell us about a confident woman who puts her faith in God.
She has seen turmoil but doesn't let her tears fall.
She never gives up.  She faces each day with strength trusting that God will see her through another day.

Strength-An Acrostic Poem tells us a story about a woman who is courageous.
She uses her strength to fight for what she believes in.
She refuses to compromise her values, as she puts family, dignity & love first.

Great work.  Ghandi had alot of faith in women.

Women today definitely face alot more than their fair share...but they don't quit easily.

I posted a link to the word prompt article.

Vidya, I enjoyed reading your lovely hub. I think it's a great response to Brenda's prompt, Strength. Women are strong in many ways, I believe, but patience and  trust in God can move mountains. Excellent work! Thank you for sharing.

Blessings and Love to both of you

Brenda, thank you so much for posting the link to my response and for the encouraging words. As Peggy said women do have an intrinsic strength in them that makes them face difficulties bravely.  As Misbah said faith can move mountains. Faith gives women the strength to fight all odds. Thanks Peggy and Misbah. I am so glad you liked my response. Have a great week ahead.

Thanks John for the kind words. I believe women today need great resilience and courage to fulfill the various responsibilities demanded of her. Faith helps her deal with this. Have a great day friend
