Hello Vidya Ji.
A wonderful response to the word prompt, Forgiveness. You have included many points on why we must learn to forgive others, and also ask for forgiveness from others. There is no doubt about this that forgiveness sets us free.
Special mention to ask for forgiveness from Mother Nature. This is very well said.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you John, for sharing this in the forum.
Thanks Chitrangada for your lovely comments. I am glad you liked my response to Brenda's word prompt. We can forgive but it is difficult to forget bad experiences. But there's no point in torturing ondself over past experiences. It is better to forgive and move on. We need to ask mother nature's forgiveness too for not respecting and taking her for granted after all the gifts that she has bestowed on us. Have a great day and week, stay blessed.
Hi John, thank you so much for sharing my response to Brenda's word prompt. I appreciate your kind words. I am so glad you liked it. I believe that we have to live with gratitude to mother Earth for providing us with her bounty to nurture and sustain us. Have a great week ahead and stay blessed.

Hi Pamela, I am so happy to know that you enjoyed reading my article, poem. The word forgiveness reminded me of the instances when people had hurt me. In retrospect today I don't harbour any negative feelings against them. It made me realize how important it is to forgive and move on. Life is transitory and all need to live in peace and enjoy life. Have a great day and week dear friend, stay blessed.
Thanks, Vidya, for putting so much effort into Brenda's word prompt of forgiveness. I enjoyed what you wrote as well as the quotes. Thanks John for posting her work in the forums.
Hi Peggy, the efforts are worthwhile when my dear Hubber friends read, like and comment on the forum about it. This connection with friends like you on Hubpages had been inspiring for me. I get to learn so much about writing from my Hubber friends. Have a great day and week my friend.
Vidya
You remind us of the importance of forgiving oneself & forgiving others.
Harboring negative thoughts only hurts us.
We can't change the past but we can try not to repeat the same blunders again.
In seeking forgiveness from others a sincere apology never goes to waste.
You tell us that humans have disturbed the ecological balance of Mother Nature & need to seek forgiveness by learning to live in harmony with all living things.
Your "Poem-Seeking Forgiveness from Myself, My Children, and Mother Nature-Response to Brenda Arledge’s Word Prompt-Week 46-Forgiveness" tells us you become a prisoner of your past if you keep replaying it over and over again in your mind.
You need to let it go, so you can move on.
So today you write a letter of forgiveness to yourself asking for forgiveness from your children & mother nature.
Saying the tortured you couldn't do better because you didn't love yourself enough to try.
You want to live guilt free & have found the path of forgiveness by learning lesson from your past.
You vow to be part of the solution as you do what you can to help Mother Nature replenish herself.
This is a great article from top to bottom. The message of forgiveness is written well.
I will post a link innthe word prompt article.
