Rosina has written another very interesting story based on a prompt from Moe Wood. Her main character, Julekha, achieves her dreams.

Rosina, This is a very interesting story. Julekha does become a queen. She achieves some very difficult goals, and I really love a very happy ending. You certainly met Moe Wood's prompt.

Thank you, Pamela, for sharing the link to my short story. I am so glad you liked the happy ending. I am also happy to know I met Moe Wood's prompt.

Misbah is also running a thread on this article. But it's good to see you run one too.

I hope you have a good start to the week ahead. And happy Monday to you.

Such an interesting story by Rosina! I thought I would guess the ending, but I didn't. It was nice that it was a happy ending, nonetheless.

I enjoyed the descriptions of celebratory meals that Rosina included in her tale. I like food details because, well, I'm a foodie.

I also liked the supportive family base Rosina applied to her character. It is always reassuring to me when there is a background of parental support.

    Rosina...
You did quite a great job writing this one.

Julekha turns out to be a remarkable woman.  Indeed a Queen.

Her actions in life show great virtue.

I love hiw she doesn't back down when he mentions marriage & her not going to further her education.

She follows through with the dream she worked so hard to get.  True Queen style!!

I've never heard of a marriage taking place over the phone, but it's a great scene.

I'm happy her husband got to visit her & her schooling went good.

I just hope this new trip to Canada will go well.  I kind of wonder if her husband is just doing this to show he is a man.
Like part of him was jealous about her going to school and leaving him.

But he could just be giving them a better opportunity.   A chance of a lifetime.

    Great write.

Thank you, Brenda, for your wonderful feedback. Yes, Julekha goes by the Queen style. A marriage can happen over phone among Muslims. It's not new but not so much used method either.

The new trip to Canada arranged by Julekha's husband is for both the reasons: he wants to show he is a man and also give his Queen an opportunity of a better life.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your comments a lot.

Rosina, I thought I posted my comment here.

I read your article 4,5 days back and enjoyed it very much. The marriage over the phone was a new thing introduced by you. It was fascinating and I felt the happiness of Julekha in my heart reading it.

Thank you Pamela for sharing the link.

I am sorry your initial comment went astray. I am so happy that you took the trouble of commenting again.

Yes, marriage over phone is new to most here but is indeed a less frequent way among Muslims. I am so delighted that you enjoyed the story.

Gratitude for stopping by and commenting. Truly Appreciated Mr. Venkatachari.

Beautiful story Rosina. It kept me hooked till the end. I loved the happy though surprise ending. I also liked her decision to continue her education. The wait was a sure test of Rizwan's true love for her. Hope both of them find their dream life in Canada. Well done.

I am so happy you loved reading the story. Yes, Julekha was adamant in her higher education, and it was a test certainly for Rizwan's true love for her. Finally they are happily united when Julekha comes to know they will be immigrating to Canada. It's my guess that since so far so good, life will treat them well in Canada with Julekha finding a good job matching her skillset.

Thank you, Vidya, for reading and commenting. Your comments are truly appreciated, as always.
