John has created an interesting and enjoyable poem. The images match the poem very well. It's going to take some time before the third one leaves my mind! The characters do look like they are searching for a way to pull someone down.

Loved your fairy-tale themed poetry. And thoroughly loved the message it conveys. The medieval music was fantastic- it fulfilled my curiosity. Thanks for sharing, John.

You fairy tale rhyming poem is a delight to read. I also like the images as they add a visual to the words. The music was interesting too and added to the theme nicely. Well done again, John.

Hello Rozlin. I appreciate your generous comment, and glad you enjoy rhyming poetry because that is what I most enjoy writing. This poem didn’t start out with every line of each stanza (quatrain) rhyming, but I although it took a lot more work, I reworked it until it did. I am pleased that you learnt something from this style of poem.

I have always loved minstrels and your poem made me love them even more. Music brings life to the soul so I admire these people just as your rhyme brings music to words.

    Hello John!
From a poem on the serious issue of suicide, to this pleasant and fun poem, based on fairy tales— Beautiful creativity, and I appreciate your skills.
I always enjoy reading your rhymes, which comes naturally to you. By the way, haven’t heard from Lora Hollings since long.
Thank you Raviji, for sharing this in the forum.
My best wishes to both of you.

      Hello Chitrangada.
Yes, I needed to write a more light-hearted poem after my last one. I reworked this one a few times to get a rhyme scheme that I was happy with. I am happy it worked out okay. No, I haven't heard from Lora Hollings for quite a while either. I hope she is okay.
