Chirangada has written a great poem asking a very poignant question on why we as humans need borders. Why can't we be free like birds flying everywhere without a care in the ever-blue skies? Maybe one day, we will all live in a world without boundaries and constraints. Thanks for sharing, Chitrangada. The link is as below.

An excellent article and poem, Chitrangada. It would be wonderful if we could be as free as the birds and travel anywhere in the world unrestricted, A world without borders would be something to look forward to. Thank you for sharing, Ravi.

Thank you so much John, for appreciating the poem and the thoughts expressed therein.
I am not sure, whether such time will come, when there will be no Borders in the World. In spite of this, I love the idea, and there is no harm in imagining that.
My best wishes to you and it’s always a pleasure to read your feedback.
      Thank you so much.

Beautiful poem, Di. I really enjoyed reading your poem and your thoughts on borders. Thank you for sharing. I guess if God had ever asked me what I wanted to be, I probably would have said a bird.
Your poem reminded me of a philosophical poem I wrote about borders. Here are a few lines from my poem:

    "Regardless of all our differences,
We can always find a way to connect.

    Limits are necessary for people,
Even so, many of them are needless.

What appears to look like dividing lines,
    May actually be the connectors."

Thank you for sharing Chitra Di's beautiful work, Ravi!
    Stay healthy, and keep smiling.
Blessings to both of you! smile

Chitrangada has created a lovely and thought-provoking poem. It does seem strange that some aspects of nature spread without concern for borders while we are very concerned about them. I find the last verse of the poem especially meaningful. Thank you for sharing Chitrangada’s article, Ravi.

    Chitrangada...
No doubt your recent travels got your muse to thinking about this difficulty to travel.

Having all those documents just to visit somewhere that our Heavenly Father created does seem a bit tedious.

I've often wondered what it would feel like to fly like a bird.  To go anywhere I wanted to go at a moments notice.

I wonder what they see or do they hassle with other birds who don't like them stopping by for a visit.

What a vision for a world to accept everyone with no borders...but I doubt I'll see it in my lifetime.

      Hello Brenda!
Thank you for reading my article and poem. Appreciate your insightful  comments about the message conveyed in it.
I do believe that our planet is so beautiful and each place should be easily approachable to every one.
At least, we are better off at this wonderful platform called HubPages, where we can interact without any botheration of crossing the Borders.
Thank you for your appreciation, nice review and thoughtful comments.
      Much appreciated. Enjoy the weekend.

        Have a great weekend Chitrangada.

I'm so glad I get to see other places through the eyes of my fellow Hubbers.

I personally don't have a passport yet...we were going to get one the year Covid hit and never did...since travel really stopped.
