Here is John's collection of poetry that he submitted to Late Steve Carr's anthologies. It's sad that Steve has passed on but his anthologies live in our hearts forever. Some of us, the fellow writers really enjoyed submitting work to his anthologies. Here is the link to John's article:

    Hi John,
It is interesting that you posted your submissions of poetry to Sweetycat Press, its publisher being Steve Carr. I have also mentioned him in an article I posted hours earlier today. I simply loved going through your collection of gorgeous poetry. Makes me feel sad all over again over the publisher's demise. May his soul rest in peace.

Thank you so much for sharing this Rosina. What a coincidence we both mentioned Steve Carr in articles on the same day. Sorry if my poems made you sad. I am about to read your article.

Rosina, thank you for sharing John's hub.

John, your poetry in Steve Carr's anthologies is lovely and thought-provoking. It's very thoughtful of you to publish this article and credit Steve and SweetyCat Press. Steve was indeed a beautiful and kind soul. May his soul rest in peace. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Blessings always!

    My sincere condolences
    R.I.P. Steve Carr

I enjoyed reading your poems. I thought the rabbit poem was so cute, but I loved all of them, John.

Thanks for posting John's poetry, Rosina.

    Hello John!
Beautiful collection of poems, with special reference to ‘Love at second sight.’ Good gesture of paying tribute to Steve Carr and his association with other fellow writers. It is indeed a great loss for the writers and the publication.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post.
Thank you Rosina for sharing this in the forums.

Hello Chitrangada, it was the least I could do to pay a tribute to Steve, He was a very supportive and encouraging mentor for other creative writers. Thank you for reading.

A wonderful collection of poems there, John! I especially loved “Love on second sight” and “Rambo the Rabbit”. Steve was indeed a generous person who contributed so much for writers all over the world, especially the Emerging ones. I hope SweetyCat Press continues to run the way it did. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

    John...
I am like you, I feel like Hubpages is my home base.

It's great to have author pages we can show as evidence of our creditials.
I have a few different author pages, but Hubpages is my favorite.

I always come back.  Perhaps it's the community and the feedback.   Everyone here is like family to me.

I an going to miss Steve Carr alot.
I enjoyed submitting to his anthologies & we often talked back n forth.
He was extremely sweet & caring when Ron passed away.
He even warned me to be careful because these things have a way of grabbing ahold of us.

I plan on ordering all of the books we are published in...but for now I read them on Kindle unlimited for free.

My favorite one is Second Sight.   How very true...when passion lasts it is true love and we see the inner person.

Then it's the gift...what greater gift than the birth of a child.

The trumpet I related too...since I played the coronet.

Rambo the rabbit is a cute one.

The one about running track is very descriptive, like how he leaves them in his wake

I can see why Steve published your words & I hope to order my copies soon.

It would be great if they let someone keep Sweetycat Press open and running...but one never knows how things go after a death.

Great tribute to our friend & colleague.

Thank you for seeking this thread out and commenting, Brenda. I am hoping that Sweetycat Press keeps going. I know Steve was the driving force behind it, but he had others who kept it going when he was away or in the hospital before. I downloaded some of the eBooks of the anthologies we were published in, but I will probably also buy hard copies.
