Thanks for sharing this one, Rosina.

I'm getting ready to go to the grocery.

Starting Friday morning...temperatures in single digits with Wind chills -30 or below zero the entire Weekend.

I've got our Christmas tree up & other decorations...along with the Bible....
Get together may be delayed...but the spirit Of Christmas will go on.

      Merry Christmas!

      Thank John...
It's definitely going to be one to remember...since our weather is taking a turn.

But New Years is supposed to be record breaking with the 50's...so I'll be happy.

Merry Christmas to you and all your family.

I'll be picturing you basking in that warm weather.

Brenda's poem is a lovely reminder to think about the spiritual meaning of the season, whether we interpret the Christmas story literally or symbolically. Materialism is a strong part of this time of year in many places. I think it's good to think about a spiritual meaning as well.

      Linda...
The spiritual part of Christmas means the most to me.

I hate that we are gonna have wicked weather here in Ohio & our family get together might be postponed. ..but the true meaning of Christmas will be there.

      I'll rejoice in that.

The spiritual aspect is important for me, too. I hope your family meeting isn't postponed, but your comment about the wicked weather applies to my area, too. We normally have mild and wet winters, but we've already had two major snowstorms. Dealing with the snow today was interesting in multiple ways!

    Hi Brenda,

I loved the title, and anything Christmas-related makes my day brighter. I wish you a very Merry Christmas with your family and friends.

I am trying to warm up my 80-year-old home; it is cold and raining in the backwoods of Florida. I hope you are warm and happy. Until next time, I will slow down to read a poem.
Thanks for sharing, surovi99, and I wish you a Merry Christmas.

      Thanks Bobbi...
I wish I were with you in that cold house...it sounds lovely compared to the approaching storm we have coming.

      Have a Merry Christmas!

I'll try to stay in touch...but if the electric goes off...I'll need to conserve my energy.

Thanks Rosina for sharing Brenda's Christmas greeting via her sparkling poem.  We are also headed for a deep freeze lasting several days ahead of Christmas, then back into the 70s the week after.  Stay warm, and stay blessed during the holidays, and into the new year!

      Thanks Peggy...
The storm just started a little while ago...and it's coming in with a vengeance.

Like you...next week we are going to have temperatures in the 50's...
Just gotta get passed this one

      Thanks Ms. Dora...
I'd like to think we are all looking at the same star...
Maybe this year it will be so bright that it will unite us all together.
