Thank you so much, John, for sharing my poem. I do not like the idea of being controlled by time and so I try to deviate my mind and seek to get back the control while I need to rush to work like everyone else. I am glad you liked the poem. My blessings to you always

    Farah...
I love your poem and how you take the time to savor the minutes.

    I personally hate to wear a watch...so I don't.
I try not to rush or pay attention to the clock unless I have to...that noise of an alarm is one I dislike.

So glad you can relax and take your time to enjoy your day.

Farah, I went through your poem and enjoyed it very much. A stroll along the lakeside to gather energy and inspiration is a wonderful thing to do. I appreciate your perceptions.

And, thank you John, for sharing this nice poem.

    Hello Farah,
Good to read another wonderful poem by you. You have beautifully composed the sentiments with regard to the morning moments, and the always ‘fleeting times.’
I also don’t like alarms, but I do set it every day. Because I don’t want to miss the morning Sunrise and early morning walks.
Thank you for sharing this refreshing and relatable poem.
    Hope you are doing well.
    Thank you John.

Time marches on whether we like it or not.  Taking the time to savor your cup of tea, and enjoying the views on your lakeside walk, put you in the right frame of mind for the rest of the day.  Thanks John for sharing Farah's poem with us.

Hi Peggy! Hope you are doing well. Thank you for taking the time to read my poem. Yes, I try to stay calm while I am having to rush just like every other person. It’s a part of my daily coping mechanism. Thank you, Peggy and thank you, John, for sharing it.

Hello Chitradi! Hope you are doing well. Yes, I need to set alarms too. I can’t afford to be late for work and no matter how much I hate being time-bound, I can’t escape this and thus I have found my coping mechanisms. I feel better when I am in control of time and it’s not the other way round. I am glad you found this relatable.
    Blessings to you always...

Thank you so much, dear Brenda! I see that we are quite similar. I don’t like to wear a watch either...but it’s actually a tool for me to see the pulse hahaha. I take it off every now and then and forget where I kept it. And no matter how much I hate the alarm, I need to set it every day so that I am not late for work. I have no way out and so I have formulated my coping mechanism to stay clam when I need to rush just like anyone else. I don’t walk along the lakeside though. There’s a road beside the lake and I ask my taxi to take that route so that I can breathe some fresh air and relax while I am rushing to work. So though I need to do things within a certain time frame, I plan things well ahead so that I get to decide what and how I want to do things within it. I am glad you enjoyed the poem. My blessings to you dear

So great to hear you are doing good Ms. Farah.
It's better you have control instead of letting everything control you.

That ride to work sounds amazing.
