How Many People Will President Trump Kill with his Tulsa Rally?

20,000 people. No masks. Enclosed space.

All occurring in a place where Coronavirus cases are rising.

President Trump has a choice to hold his rally or not. If he holds it, how many people will get Coronavirus? How many people will die?

Does President Trump have any responsibility in that?

Of course he does, but the attendee also has a responsibility not to attend a dangerous situation. If the supporter doesn't go to the rally, what is the party going to do to him/her, cancel their membership? Of course not! I would say that if a person goes and brings back COVID-19 and wipes out a family member or several family members and friends, that supporter bears the brunt of responsibility for being stupid. As the old saying goes, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." Disclaimer:  This is not a defense of Trump or his stupidity. I'm not sure what proportion of responsibility I would assign to either of them.

I feel weird pointing this out, but Trump has the same right to have a rally as protesters have to protest. I may assign different value to each gathering, but there's no question each group is doing basically the same thing - endangering themselves and others by gathering.

No, you are right to point this out. But your forum was about Trump's rally, not protester's rallying. I think they are equally stupid for endangering people's lives during this pandemic. I predict that innocent people will die from both groups exercising their rights under our Constitution. Innocent people being defined as "family, friends and collateral contacts who stay home and do not attend public gatherings."

Not sure how you know the people that attend the rally will not be wearing masks. Curious... I have read that masks will be given at the door, and I would assume many may show up wearing a mask.

President Trump does have the right to hold a rally, just like all the liberals have the freedom to protest nightly for two weeks now in some of our US cities.

How many people will die? How about we consider how many will die in CHOP due to their living conditions, and lack of masks, and mo law and order.  Early this morning the week-old city had its first murder,  a 19-year-old, and one other hospitalized in critical condition. At this rate per capita, they might catch up with Chicago in a week or so. "The summer of love".

You continue to exhibit hypocrisy at it's best. Hopefully, that 19-year old that was killed has very liberal parents, and they will be able to justify his death for the "cause"...  Make him a martyr.

And no Trump is not responsible for anyone that chooses to come to his rally, he is not forcing anyone to attend, adults can make up their own minds, and have every right to attend if they see fit. Just like no one forced anyone to join in protests over the past weeks, and chance getting the virus.

How many will die from the protests? Perhaps you could give me a quick estimate.

Well, it seems that the attendees are his groupies, and that folks from OK had enough sense to stay home. There are a lot of empty seats, and nobody outside to speak of. So I guess the groupies from think it worth the risk.

Got to go with MizBejabbers here - Trump will kill no one.  The people deciding that the virus is a hoax, or don't care enough to take precautions - those are the killers.

People, all of us, have a responsibility for our actions.  That responsibility has NOT been given to government (no matter how much liberals want it to be so) and it has NOT been given to Trump.

How can Trump have a rally when he's been pushing that Coronavirus is over and he knows his followers believe him and will go? He's knowingly putting people in danger. What President does such a thing other than during war?

What kind of mayor allows anarchists to achieve, and maintain, total control over a large area of the city?  What kind of governor allows the people living there to endure that kind of thing?  What kind of people advocate leaving it alone, ignoring the plight of the people there as if they are but pawns in the game?

I assume you heard CHOP has it's first killing early this morning one dead 19 years old, and one in the hospital in critical condition. The summer of love is fleeting fast. Now it's time to clean them out... They need to be made to vacate the zone by force if necessary. The time for playing we created a new country is all but over. It's very apparent these protesters are out of control and need to be dismantled.

There have also been other reports that they are heavily armed.

I disagree only in that the time to clear them was the day they moved in.  Somehow we, as a nation, have decided that "civil disobedience" up to and including riots, arson and murder are OK if there are more than a few participating.

It's not, and we are now paying a very (very!) high price for that notion.  In more places than Seattle.

I was previously for just letting them run out of steam or toilet paper, whichever came first. I was wrong, now we have people shooting one another. Yeah, should have been handled the day they moved in.

Law and order is alive in Red states. The Blue states, not so much.

It's interesting that when people protest for civil rights, so many people want them to be forcibly put down. It's almost the same reaction from the 1960s where basically the same thing happened - black people asking to be treated equally as white people. Law and order then, law and order now. And then you wonder why black people fear the police.

Ever seen the police beat the crap out of Klan members at one of their rallies? Nope.

Not sure why you seem to think that lots and lots of people want protesters to be "forcibly put down".  Had you said rioters rather than protesters I would have understood and agreed (I'm one of those that would say that), but not legal protesters.

Or you one of those that believe if you are "protesting" something bad in your own mind that anything you do, any action you take from arson to murder is fine?

Trump himself used the word "protesters" in his Tulsa speech, so he seemed to lump them all together.

I suppose since the whole Coronavirus thing is a hoax or it's over, it all doesn't really matter.
