Ramaswamy, Desantis, Haley, or Christie? Who won? Trump, of course?

"Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis clocked in the most time at the mic, with both candidates speaking more than 20 minutes."

Haley was most attacked. Is she a threat?

Ramaswamy was the closest to having a potty mouth using attitude as guidance

Christie played hardball not taking any guff

Was their silence on Trump? Does that mean they all are conceding? Is it all show and no go?

What does your favorite pundit say?

What do you say? For me it was at least entertaining.

    Who won the debate?

I neither like nor trust Republicans generally, I did not see the debate. But, I could support either Christie or Haley, anyone who can derail Trump.

DeSantis did very well, all the pundits I reviewed said the same thing.

More importantly, it defined the two remaining viable candidates much better.

Christie and Vivek are not legitimate considerations so I won't bother with them.

Haley, right up until this week, I thought was a better option than DeSantis.

But I admit, until this week, I paid almost no attention to any of them.

Haley has received backing that raised red flags, but it is her positions on certain things, especially Ukraine, that disqualifies my ever supporting her.

I think the difference between her and DeSantis was brought to light very well in that debate.  A lot happened in that debate that hurt her campaign, and I think it put DeSantis ahead of her going into Iowa.

The nice thing about that debate is anyone can go and watch the entire thing on Youtube... so there is plenty of time for people who are interested in what was said, to review it at any time. And that will help DeSantis as time goes on.

The debate between DeSantis and Newsom has changed the entire Republican race IMO.  People will review that debate, review this fourth debate, in the weeks ahead prior to going to vote... his performances in both were solid, and will do him well going forward.

I think by January 30th this will be a DeSantis - Trump race.

DeSantis will need something outside of his control to occur, for him to displace Trump as the front runner.  I don't think it is within his ability to take Trump out in a debate or in a campaign.

If he makes the wrong moves against Trump, he loses that voter base... if he bides his time, the Democrats' efforts to remove him from the ballots and jail him may do the job for him.

It seems to be an interesting debate. Even though I am not an American citizen, I feel that Trump should not win the race. But I don't know who is better to administer.

I came to know that Ramasamy is a good orator through this debate.

I think Desantis won the debate, with Nikki a very close second.

I think it is almost written in stone that Trump will be the Republican candidate. Regarding the debate ---  think Desantis did pretty well, and Nikki also held her own. I like Ramasamy, he has great common sense and is not afraid to share his true views.  I would think Nikki and Ron are the only competition for Trump. I like all three, I feel when it comes down to it, they all have American first policies. I would naturally prefer Trump. However, I can't see the Demacrats letting him have any form of peace to Govern. Which would leave us with more turmoil.

Breaking it down as simply as possible...

Vivek - no experience, they would pull the wool over his eyes, he wouldn't be able to put together a decent Administration fast enough, has no idea what he is really getting into.

Nikki - Establishment, would be very closely aligned to all the policies that Biden has now, when she says otherwise, she is merely being a politician, those aren't real promises, her track record shows she's on board with Open Borders, Agenda 2030, will do the bidding of the MIC, etc.

DeSantis - Just look at his track record, that's what he is, has military experience which is important, especially now, has experience running an Administration.

Of the three, only DeSantis is a legitimate change and upgrade from what we have now.

I still like Vivek as Trump's second. He could learn from Trump and be better prepared, with four more years under his belt.
A personality is just that, and that's not the type of learning I am referring to!
Trump would teach him how to read a room, what each individual, group, foreign leader, etc. responds to best, what deadlines and red lines actually mean.

I still love DeSantis, right here in FL! Going forward, with him, I just don't know yet and not sure what my reluctance is due to!?!

I do not care for Nikki Haley, she gives me a Liz Cheney vibe. I'm not sure where her loyalties lie....
