   Oh yes, I believe if two people who once had a love connection and if it was truly real love, sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder if they really want each other back.  True love never dies and yes with that being said true love always find its way back!

   I would have to say that I hope the answer to this question is yes.  I don't see why not.  Sometimes life gets so incredibly messed up, but in the end, if you are with the one you love like no other, then it's all worth it.

   The answer can be yes  and it can be no. It depends how deep is the wound and how long is the gap from the time they broke each others heart to the time they decided to mend it. I just a heard a song say "some broken hearts never mend, some pain would never end"
   That is just for me. Maybe not maybe yes

   Depending on the individuals......If they need to heal they will.  If it is one sided that individuals heart will heal in time.  Everything takes time even if you have to do it by yourself. 
   
   P.S.  According to Dl it is said that absence makes the heart grow fonder.  Well that is only for fools who realize after the fact what they had, now that it is gone.  Functional relationships do not promote or cosign on breaking each other or each others hearts only to return at a later date in the name of "Love".  Relationships can be difficult, this we all know, but there is nothing like knowing what you have while you have it and experiencing and enjoying it for as long as you live

   Yes, it can happen. I have a friend who married young, had a couple of kids and divorced.  She went on to other relationships, he married and was married for 30 years to someone else.
   
   He divorced, she was between relationships and they reunited on Facebook and have just remarried. imagine remarrying the father of your children after all that time.  A happy ending.

   Yes, anything's possible when it comes to love.  I'd say more often than not though if it didn't work the first time, it's probably not going to work the second time.  History has a way of repeating itself...
