Is it truly possible to love (spousal type of love) more than one person at a time?
Spousal love could mean anything, but yes, it is possible to love more than one person at a time. Our love, and our capacity to love, does not always follow accepted social mores. The heart cannot always be bound by rules. We love who we love, whether we like it or not.
I agree with Theo, we are designed to love and connect with people not to hate or ignore people although the social conventions force us sometimes to do just that....if you are always honest with yourself and people around you, if you don't base your love on suffering of others...then just follow your heart and your consciounce and forget the social conventions....
